A part of me wants to sabotage the ship and let the castle be destroyed rather than let Bowser have it.

I wonder how many civilians are in the castle...

Good thing we're in the Mario universe, or launching ourselves out of a cannon in midair might temporarily inconvencience us.

Instead, it's just another Thursday.

One has to ask, why do they have cannons in the basement instead of on the walls or in the towers instead? Oh, the policy in this place is just DREADFUL!

EDIT: Ahahahaha, jumping is definitely a more controlled way down!

It's much safer to use a cannon than to jump. Because screw physics.

Yep. All that extra force and height totally help stop you falling to your death. Totally.

By the way, am I (as a Yoshi) able to give people a completely platonic ride on my back? Inside and/or outside of combat?
That could be super handy in chokepoint-holding during combat, being able to have two attackers cover a chokepoint.

Out of combat yes, in combat I haven't worked anything out yet. I may retroactively add traits like I did for Boothany.

In Fire Emblem thats called a rescue-essentially, every character gets a stat for how large and strong or carry capable they are. If your mod is above anothers, you can pick them up and transport them around the map, and they obviously can't do the same for you.

In our case, Teresa, Vilhemas and Inezach would have a high stat and Bethany would be the bottom.

I know, I've played some Fire Emblem games. But this is less like the rescue mechanic and more like mounted combat, where both mount and rider can fight. Hopefully.
Natch, I hope to be able to rescue people too...

Hope everyone enjoyed the Prologue to Mushroom Kingdom Wars: Second Story. At least this one wasn't entirely railroaded - had you picked up the hats or even had Teressa aimed herself at the airship/fought Bowser, the outcome would likely have been different.

Let's-a-go!

the most level: it's a really big airship
Wydarstur: Really big window.
He has a point. Most castles are not built to be picked up and moved around like a giant brick, because bricks don't leave much room for grand halls or bedrooms. Any real castle would simply lose bits of roof.
Although it's hypothetically possible that whoever designed and built the castle would have reinforced it and weakened the foundations in such a way that it could survive being picked up with an airship...

It's not the first time he picked up the entire castle you know.

Super Mario Galaxy?

I'm not sure why Bowser needs to steal the ACTUAL castle, I mean I'm pretty sure he has a bitchin' lava fortress or something in some of the games.
