okay so if I move south 3, can I actually hit Boo E with Aquasphere and uh. Well the answer is no. I can however punch it with no weapons, which would technically do the same amount of damage, but I'd lose my triangle advantage. The question is, is it a smart idea to lose the whole -30%/-2 hit/damage when electric attacks are directed towards me?

Keep in mind that your spheres slow them down on hit, which can space them out for us if used right.

@Ochita: Actually, Ice Element (aquasphere) still has an advantage over Elec Element

Quote
Ice: Ice magic is often used to disable or otherwise hinder voes. An Ice specialist will gain terrain-transformation spells earlier than any other type of mage. Advantage against Elec, disadvantage against Fire.
Elec: Elec magic is the black sheep of elemental magic. While this subtype has many basic damage spells, Elec magi eventually learn to do bizarre things like create wormholes, cause storms and blind foes. Advantage against Fire, disadvantage against Ice.
Fire: Fire magic is your traditional 'blow stuff up' school of magic. Adherents can eventually learn the most damaging spells in existence. A common alternate use of Fire magic is battlefield control by way of temporary flame walls. Advantage against Ice, disadvantage against Elec.

And why is Tanky walking into a wall on his turn and not attacking. <_<

Wait, electricity has a disadvantage to itself?

Yes but its range? 2-3.

That means I cant target adjacent foes, so yeah. What can I actually even do.

I dont think so.

I guess its either healing zach after the enemies have gone or just trying to bear with their attacks.

What part of normal attack range is 1-2 nobody gets? And I was sleepy when I did that post, it is fixed.

And if you were expecting me to use that fire flowah, elec have advantage against fire.

@Prae: Actually, the spot directly above Zach is open and in your movement range.

Boothany is one North of BooE
Ochi is one West of BooE
Vil is One North of BooA
Tere is One South of BooA

And not in a attack range, that is my point.

Question answers: yes, you can attack then move. This was explicitly stated early in the game. Refer to the tutorial on Action and Move Phases.

Ugh, whatever, I give up.

Let me illustrate what Praefectus is trying to say. Movement is in white, attack range is in red.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Tanky has five MOV, but he cannot move to the tile Inezach is on because then he would be ending his turn on the same tile as something else (another thing stated to be impossible). If he tried anyway and moved to just above Inezach, he would have to have RNG 3 at the very least to strike Boo E.

After finding out that this would temporarily be the focus for a while, and having it linked to, I have finally read this all (though not the first one, it sounds amazing, and should read that eventually, too).
Posting to watch (wish I could do that in the IC thread), and waitlist if possible.
