I accept your challenge.

Warp Plasma doesn't count!

We all know that stuff and do everything from inverting a metrion field to scrubbing the dishes.

Please accepting Warp Plasma is like accepting the Plasma in your blood.

You don't put Warp Plasma into a Plasma Screwdriver.

I could be interesting things with blood plasma too... I'm sure it would work in screwdriver form!

What I want is a sonic screwdriver with a lightsaber function. Best of both worlds!

That would be a Laser Screwdriver.
Ah, but its screwdriver function is still sonic.

Lightsaber = Deliberate combat limitation [unless you're George Lucas].
Sonic Screwdriver = A tool, not a weapon. One device to tool them all, it is the ultimate Swiss army knife invented by a precursor species that predates time.

Who wins.

Sonic screwdriver wins.

How? How do you even win with the screwdriver? Do you open doors the other guy to death?

The lightsaber is only useful as a symbol and for toasting bread. The screwdriver functions with just about everything technological. You're comparing a supercomputer with a hammer at how well they smash rocks when you throw them on the ground.

Well, realistically we are talking about how well they smash rocks. Throwing them on the ground renders both tools totally irrelevant, so it is a tie. Hammer > Super computer at breaking rocks.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Oh look, a fully automated Quarry.

Sonic screwdriver disables the lightsaber's force fields, the plasma spewing flashlight explodes.

But... But it doesn't spew plasma! It is just sonic! And light sabers don't have force fields! AND PIE ISN'T EXACTLY 4!!!! WHY IS THIS HAPPENING? WHY AM I TRAPPED HERE?!?!?

*Lightsaber spews plasma.

And light sabers don't have force fields!
They call them force containment fields.

WHY IS THIS HAPPENING? WHY AM I TRAPPED HERE?!?!?
YOU COULD HAVE STOPPED THIS
WHY DIDN'T YOU LISTEN

Oh look, a fully automated Quarry.

<psst>I don't want to undermine your argument at all[1], but that looks more like some sort of grit-grader/spreader, storing the pre-quarried product in a covered area.  You really need to depict an automatable explosives driller/planter (for harder rock), bucket-wheel or scoop crane, robotic trucks and/or conveyor system, maybe a rock-crusher...

[1] Really, the subject I gave this thread was an afterthought.  It's surprised me when it became the actual topic.  I shouldn't have been, obviously.  If only I'd asked whether B5 Shadows could stand up against Alien[s|3] aliens... ;)

It's a picture of a single part of a cement mill run entirely by advanced logic systems. That is either clinker that has been grinded already or is about to be grinded into fine powder.
Super computer > Sledge hammer. You're treading on unstable ground here!

Take a sledgehammer to a supercomputer, guess which one will break first :P

Besides, people with lightsabers tend to be telekinetic, and we've seen that telekines in Star Wars are perfectly capable of pulling small, held objects out of people's hands...
