TURN 5
The "Floating Coffin" fires several laser bolts at the "Nerlin"! (Attack: 2 vs. Defence: 5 -> 1:3)
[3] The laser bolts do only cosmetic damage to the armour of the "Nerlin".
The "Magnum" fires its lasers at the "Nacome". (Attack: 2 vs. Defence: 5 -> 1:3)
[3] The "Nacome" manages to avoid the lasers just in time.
The "Cirow", "Terin", "Vergino", "Vaszack" and "Quetitelo" launch warheads from their holds!
A swarm of PPSR torpedoes intercept the "Watchful Vigilance" at (15, 12)! (Attack: 12 vs. Defence: 2 -> 4:1)
[2] The "Watchful Vigilance" manages to out maneuver the torpedoes for a while, but it's quickly engulfed by the swarm. -1
The "Watchful Vigilance" has been vapourized!
A set of BT-1 Mines and 1-B Torpedoes collide at (08, 12) and destroy each other.
Some 1-B Torpedoes detect the "Hi Wa We" at (08, 12) and move in to intercept. (Attack: 10 vs. Defence: 10 -> 1:1)
[4] Large chucks are gouged out of the carrier's armour, but the interior of the ship remains perfectly safe. -1
Bump
We are all ready right?
Yes, I'm just a lazy bastard. It's getting to be obvious that we probably won't complete all 10 scenarios, but at the very least I'd like to finish this one and then figure out where to go from there. Probably that RPGish idea I've been toying with. We'll see.
Oh, and I've formally decided that mines/torpedoes will go for each other first, then the largest enemy ship they can attack. Obviously that means they can only attack once, and not every ship on the hex. Just for future reference.
I cannot, however, see a way yet to enter orbit around the sun without using fuel.
If I remember correctly Lenglon figured out a stable orbit around a star, but it's definitively a bit odd. Check the USEC thread if you want to see the details.
