How does the Sell function work? I don't trust myself to figure it out. :-\

How does the Sell function work? I don't trust myself to figure it out. :-\

Open up your inventory and select the item, you should see a sell button appear if the item is saleable. Hit that and you will see a popup with a box you can enter the amount you want to receive on the left. It will automatically add the amount that steam will take to that figure and the total will be displayed on the right, this is the amount that it will show up for in the market. Make sure to check what an item is selling for before listing it by checking through the market page.

Make sure you have checked the box agreeing to steams terms and conditions for selling items and hit ok. It will then show a message telling you that the item will be removed from your inventory while it is posted for sale and you need to hit ok again, the item is not listed until you do this.

If you want to retrieve an item that has not sold yet, it will be listed at the top when you open up the market page, you can also remove it from sale from the lists for a particular item if you are viewing them.

I'm try to sell my one invite I didn't use for just enough to get Kerbal Space Program XD

Unfortunately they're only worth like 10 cents each on the market!

I don't really like this new profile layout but it's Valve and they tend to make things work.

Yup, at this point in time the cards are basically useless. They're gimmicks for those who got way to much money to spend and a desire to complete a digital card collection.

It's like they turned steam into a cheap facebook game.

It's the only Facebook game that's ever payed me to play. I'm okay with this.

I'm guessing you've never collected trading cards.
This is exactly like collecting trading cards IRL, you just can't hold them.

The steam trading card group announced a day or two ago that they'll give invites to anyone on the group who hasn't received them on a daily basis, so good luck getting much of anything for them...

Managed to get a little bit of money today (sold 3 cards, 1 invite and 1 crate). I recommend selling your invites as fast as you can, especially if people not in the group will get it. A few cents can help sometimes (cheap cosmetic DLC and the like).
