Has Digger been mentioned yet? Because seriously, this is pretty amazing. AND it's finished, so you don't even have to add a trawl, you can read it right through! Sad, inspiring, amazing, and fun, it's a pretty awesome adventure.

"Prequel"

Distraction provided. Bored-related crisis averted. Mission accomplished. :P

Oh hey a general thread that's related to a question I want to ask but don't want to visit an MLP community.

I know there's a fair number of MLP fans here. What are the fandom's thoughts on that High-School spinoff of MLP? I don't get uncanny valley, but then again my uncanny valley is centered pretty much exclusively around things that shouldn't move (the dead, or inanimate).  However it looks, to put it as aptly as I can, fucking stupid. Who are they trying to cater to? It's like they made it JUST for the creeps that have been clogging up the internet with horrifyingly inappropriate anthro-pony crap. What can this possibly offer? I've seen like the first five episodes of MLP, and it's fine. Doesn't need this. Was there an actual demand for this aside from creeps?

"Prequel" is pretty entertaining and the protagonist is a khajiit. I suppose it makes ever-so-slightly more sense if you're a fan of TES games. Slow to update, though. Argonians are also featured.

Seconded, seconded, and seconded. Respectively: Hilarious and great experimental animation, most likeable and characters and scifi I've read, unique and professional. And everyone already knows about Lackadaisy, so that covers pretty much everything.

To be fair, isn't that like half their market?

You have a weird definition of "fair" if generalizations like that fall under it.

They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

I'm in two minds about it: on one hand, it is vile even for me. On the other hand, absolutely no one minds me doing cataclysmic eldritch stuff with them! It's like a free punching bag except with more horror and soul-qfgarnxing.

I may as well post to watch this since the whole furry fandom type thing intrigues me somewhat, and I really have little to no idea as to what all constitutes it or why they gather together for cons and such.  For instance in real life I know a few people who identify as 'furries' but dispise people who wear 'fur suits', yet they've never given me an answer as to where that dislike comes from.  Now I am actually talking about people who wear ears and tails and stuff, but still dislike people who do the full costume route.  Personally, I don't really think I am though I've dressed as fictional video game characters who happen to be animals before but I've also dressed as space marines and shit ((I get to work at the local Comic-con doing games and events every year since I was 10 and they like people to be in cosplay))  So really, I guess I'm asking for a definition, from a person who identifies as a furry their ideas, of what makes you one as well as the various subgroups.  Though if it's something personal maybe pm me it instead of posting?  Really I'm just interested is all...

I actually don't have any uncanny valley experience with those designs.  Also, the problem with the crappy girls brand of lego is that it's the "girls" version, therefore it is shitty.  Are you trying to tell me that the pony version is for boys?  Both of these are for girls!
Well, the most popular demographic is males aged 18 and over who claim to be heterosexual. Safe to say the pony version is in fact for boys, and the new crappy schoolgirl one is Hasbros enforcement of the patriarchy.

The fact that guys like it more than girls does not mean that it was designed with guys in mind.

The first season wasn't, neither was the second. I feel as if that the third was, though.

Do you think maybe the same argument could be applied to the "male" Lego toys?

How can you tell which Lego are for boys and which are for girls? Is this a recent thing?
