Erm, you're sort of where I'm about to summon some fire walls. How do you want to resolve this?

Are they ranged attacks? Because if they are, then I'm tempted to stay where I am to whack each of them, but I'm not sure if I could stand the fire...

My flame seed will damage Mike and also summon a 1-turn fire wall in each adjacent space. It will summon walls in the space below him as well as on his companions.

OOOH, I thought the NPC's were making firewalls! :o I'm an idiot...

Ok, it's cool. I can just shift wherever next turn, or whenever they shift while they are next to me. I'm editing my action.

Your Speed of Thought is an encounter power, so it won't be available again until after a short rest.

Weston: 11 + 4 = 15: Hit! 9 + 6 = 15 psychic damage to Charlie.

Charlie is visibly shaken, and is holding his head. (bloodied)

Move forward and east one square, then cast flame seed on Mike.



Joe: 12 + 2 = 14: Miss!

Clever. Damnit now I'm going to have to write a stat sheet for the knife.

EDIT: Actually, it'd be the same stats as a standard short sword.
