This is really only the best kind of option available to me at the time, and if I don't get 'live' practice, my skills and power deteriorate over time, which can mean years of effort lost in months or even weeks! And that's something I will not abide."

In Draconic:  "I think he prefers to not use a gun for fighting. That or he doesn't want to kill people a lot. Both of which is fine with me.

Still in Elven:  "Well there is always the basement."

In Elven, to Kyle: "Again, this is a brand new building. Even the janitor closets won't have had time to get a decent distillery set up. I wonder if perhaps the management of the hotel is in on this..."

Out loud, in Common: "So Mr. Dwarf. Any chance that there might be team matches in this fighting club of yours?"

While the bartender is in the back room, Honor's ears perk up, and she paws at Weston to get his attention.

In Goblin:  "Oh, well fuck you then. Anyways who puts a distillery in a janitors closet? It would be much better to put them in a basement with the fighters and fight watchers to maximize the amount you can get out before you have to... what am I saying anyways? I have no idea how to run a distillery much less make good profit from it.

[Sirus]

Weston immediately lowers his voice to talk to Honor directly.

"What's up? Show me."

"Ha! I knew talked to his cat!"

Kyle gets up from the table. "I'm going to go see whats taking the bartender so long. Anyone want to come with?"

"I don't really make a living on that sort of thing, I just do it for the fighting practice. I do odd jobs when I'm in town mostly when I'm in need of money, stuff like being a bouncer or bodyguard for a single gig typically, since I'm on the road a lot.

There's nothing WRONG with the military, it's just that I don't really... cope so well under the whole command structure thing. A whole lot of red tape, arguing, corruption, and then there's the whole 'I'm a higher rank than you, so I'm better than you' thing, which I hate. We all die equally well, or messily, so I don't really get that...

And of course there's team fights. Why do you ask? Looking to join in or something?"

[Sirus]

"Something like that. My abilities could probably come in handy, though I confess I prefer to stay out of brawling range."

Weston kept most of his attention on Honor, however. She was clearly trying to tell him something, but couldn't speak around these virtual strangers.

Kyle looks pointedly at Weston. "I think your cat needs to go out or something. I think we could wait for you to come back to the table if that's the case." Kyle tilts his head to the door.
