Don't worry, we still have a leg.

Singular, but a leg is a leg.

I say our next ancestor develops flower mimicry for both offense and socialization purposes, with the remaining leg disguised as a stem and a total of four wings and large fists as "petals." This is just a design choice, btw. It should be depicted in unfolded position, so not to look like a plant during gameplay, and so still showing tentacle bugzapper face. Deadly, lovecraftian, flowery bakery.

What properties do electric glands have in creature stage anyway?

I, I, I rather suspect that I shouldn't think about the implications of that too closely...

Well it may be pleasant tingling yes... But it'd more likely be akin to a firefly/lightning bug. It makes pretty lights so the base impulse is "Hey must be good right?"

For a creature without sight, I imagine they use them to communicate by electrolocation. It's hypothesized that creatures with different senses might perceive things differently, bats for instance might percieve sound similar to how we perceive sight. Perhaps the snickerdoodles "see" through electrical fields...

I dunno, your images would be more like eyes working only via rubbing against a visible surface, intimately. There, now you have a different traumatizing image of how a sense works.

That's how I've interpreted it. I can't help but wonder what their "books" would be like...

Interesting. It could take a while, but interesting.

Anyone have a suggestion for names?
