It is powered through the use of time portals, and the effect is sent through a time portal to the present. The method of creating the portals is technological. The portal is one-way, in your direction. It affects a time period of + or - 1000 years of your current position at all times.
>The Great Wyrms tried to shut down the device via a quantum bogosort, using the first quantum computer. When they attempted this, they ultimately failed, destroying the computer and the team who built it, setting back quantum computing by 3 years.
1) Keep 'Update (#) of Restart' at the top of the post in order for an easier to find turn.
2) Stick to canon of the game, placing this at the bottom of update posts, updating the canon as it changes in the turn.
3) If the current GM is offline for 1 hour, if you haven't posted an action, or if you disregard the action you sent in, you can take the slot. The wait is bypassed if the GM posts that they are leaving.
