No. I suppose there are similarities, but I'm fairly certain angry birds doesn't let me charge into a battalion of knights with a car made of circular saws.

Why not? A nuclear reactor would be a good source of power for our ships...

@Brood: Why not propose basing it on the Capian design? Similar to the engine we captured and improved. Basically basing it on the captured design but only using the most successful parts.

Edit And addition: We will need better artillery (and mobile) to have something to reliably counter their artillery, as at the moment all that can counter it is manoeuvre and/or air strikes. We surely captured artillery pieces from them.

Well, the helicopters are an unproven design
4engined cargo planes are unproven, too. So what? Nothing in prototype designs said that it's bad. It's much better than I expected
Besides we need helicopter production experience, then we'll retool the factory to newer helicopters

not to mention the planes are faster and carry more cargo.
Do you release that ability to land anywhere is very, very handy for suppling?

Not really, we have the Hammer, a reasonably fast 160mm SPG. We just need production started on it

Hmmm maybe, I'm keeping it at 120mm though since that has greater potential for power and range.

We need mid-caliber howitzer, we badly need mid caliber howitzers. Hammers are from different weight category and we'll never produce enough, and our 80mm guns are total crap

Reverse engineering  Capian design is a quick way to do it and will allow us to use captured ammunition that we surely have due to our blitzkrieg
Simple decisions are, usually, effective.  All my proposals require quite small engineering effort but may boost us considerably more than new complex designs

Reword it to something like this:

Develop a 120mm cannon based on the successful 100mm gun of the Capian navy

True. I'll try to remember adding a production proposal for it. We desperately need it.

We may even be able to mount it on the Cricket for an impromptu self-propelled version - or the old badger.

Hmm, maybe though we'd better test it first, it might have to much kick for use on a ground based vehicle.

Good idea. Would a 120mm howitzer still be in the same weight class as a 160mm or is there enough difference to call the 160mm a heavy howitzer and a 120mm a medium howitzer?

Or would have to mount it in a K-1(which is a more stable platform for SPGs)

Do we have captured examples of naval 100mm guns ? I doubt it... We should have land howitzers, not naval guns

I dislike that what looks like navy oriented turn when we can expect very tough land battle with remains of Capian Army and fresh Morovian Army.

160mm gun should be 2.3 times heavier, so there are definately in different weight class..  Still prefer 100mm, those should be 4 times lighter than 160mm guns

Well, we don't really need much more to combat them, just more tanks, upgrading tanks, getting some sort of SPG fielded, and insuring we have the skies clear. If we can destroy the remains of the Capian navy and start ripping up their ports, that'll make Capia fall that much quicker.

I'd suggest not ripping up the ports. Who knows, we could use their shipyards for our own purposes.
