That's called a compromise, to get something good for something , you need to create a disadvantage for it. No design is good for everything

It is meant to evade stronger ships... If it fail... Well, tough luck
It is meant to harass shipping lines, not willingly engage in artillery duels... Edited ship a bit once more to free some badly needed tons
_________________________

Brood how do you want to improve it?

Put two 160mm instead of 320mm? Less range, loosing much of appeal of the design as it will have much lesser range

Add 1 160mm gun to the ship? Well, it will be mostly unused, because ship will try to avoid going in range of 160mm guns... Holding 100 more tons for something that shouldn't be used in most situations = waste

Add 1 more 320mm? Heavy, will become slower or less armored
Replace AA guns with one 320 mm gun? Will be a sweat target for enemy airforce
Replace ASW equipment? Will be sweat target for submarines

If you look at the weights listed, it's only 20 tons more to mount a 320mm turret compared to a 160mm turret(this is including armor and ammo). So having two 320mm turrets on this isn't a bad idea

No. I suppose there are similarities, but I'm fairly certain angry birds doesn't let me charge into a battalion of knights with a car made of circular saws.

the gun itself is 70 guns for the 320mm, the turret and ammunition would add to that.

Alright, after hearing some of your problems over IRC, I'm going to pt my own opinion here, along with pointing out various stupid mistakes you guys make.

First off: Commerce Raider. We want subs for these as anything else will be to noticable. And the minute they see something coming for them, the alert is going to be raised. Stealth is the foremost and the most important aspect of convoy raiding.

Next part is the navy in general. Destroyers should be primarily Anti-sub and Anti-air, they primarily exist to serve as an escort ship in flotillas for any larger ships built, such as carriers and battleships. The lightest ship class that should be based upon ship-to-ship combat should be light cruisers, and if we want anti-ship capabilities upon the destroyers, we outfit them with torpedoes. The subs themselves should be primarily outfitted with torpedoes as their sole weapon since we've screwed up if they have to surface to fire.

Thirdly, we better start upgunning our tanks for AT warfare, mainly via upgunning, uparmouring and outpacing every other tank design out there. As it is, the badger is likely to be outpaced within the space of a year or two and as such a new tank should be designed to maintain our lead within that particular section of the arms race. This means abandoning gasoline for military vehicle fuel altogether in favour of diesel (The disadvantages of such should not come up barring conflict in an arctic, tundra or taiga region), along with the introduction of a christie suspension system for the tanks. This will give us fast, mobile tanks capable of striking very hard at the enemy regardless of the terrain.

The self-propelled guns do not need as much armour UNLESS they're an assault gun. If they're getting shot than we've screwed up very badly. We can afford to drop the armour around the gun compartment for those, or even just forgo a turret entirely (Save for the SP AA)

Infantry-wise, we should look into carbines and flamethrowers, as these will provide decent weapons for combat within urban terrain.

Lastly however: DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES ATTACK A NEUTRAL CONTRY. We DO NOT need the international condemnation, or the Morovians gaining an ally. If this happens we WILL lose the resulting war. We also need to keep that line open. Any defensive war upon our shores, we will win decisively, along with most ground wars. But the minute we bring the other neighbor into conflict with us we're done for.

Have we choose the 2 improvements for sonar; the 1 improvement Advanced Diesel Engine and GVS-14?

Attacking a neutral country is a great plan,as long as we can conquer it with a quick hammer blow and have our troops trust passit deep in to Morovia.

we want Germany vs Belgium, not Russian

Those were already chosen by the time I did the last update, I just need to update them in the stats block.

It was :
diesel: low maintenance
GVS-14: extremely accurate
Sonar: scanning, depth finding

Yeah, with our tank's top speed, I do doubt that we could pull that off at all. If anything, we should either ally with that nation (Which will not only give us a path into molovia, but additional troops as well) or use subs to cripple their military docks.

The basic badger can hit 30mph on flat roads, better then or as good as the fastest Panzers for the early years of the war.

Why did our government stop to build Patriotisms? I fill that can hurt us in a longer run , our aircrafts still use them... And tanks... And Hydras

We currently have 1 of these machine guns for every ~7 soldiers, not including those already mounted on vehicles. IIRC our original goal was 1 per 10 infantry. The new high velocity cannons for refitting tanks, ships and towable guns became a higher priority.

What we need now is shotguns, snipers, pistols, subs, grenades and so on for the men.

Our special forces have enough weapons to arm over 3000 men, and theres only 300 of them.

We don't need the shotguns. Anything a shotgun can do, a flaethrower can do better, with the added benefit of fire.

Already proposed dude, our infantry is badly under prepared and it's time the squads started to benefit from all our new toys.
