So, we have various proposals for improving both our land forces and our navy(and I think we can agree that we don't need to mess too much with our air force at this time, except to get the newest designs out the door quicker). Anything else we might need?

Not much I can think of. Could try miniturizing our radar system in order to fit them into our fighters.

Actually, there was a model developed by the british for use on their fighters in 1939. I'd say we're about six years from that point in history so it's quite probable we could get something like that out.

ok what should we do to better arm our poor infantry?
Right now all thay have is an old Mosin Nagant and a helmet.
as we have a heavy bent to mechanized assaults a large slow bolt action rifle is not the ideal weapon.

i say we replace all nagants with the SVA-10's as soon as we can.
and issue 9mm pistol to the rest.

Well, keep the Nagants in service until we can fully replace them, but the official weapon should be a mixture of SVA-10s and ASh 30s when we can usher them into service. That'll provide our infantry with a respectable amount of firepower.

Every second soldiers has SVA-10 and we producing more and more... Soon we'll have more than we'll ever need...

We should cut down to 1000 per year once we replace the Nagants, use the rest of the factory to make support weapons.

if we start replacing the Nagants now, they should get to the front in time to fight off the counter attacks.

I think he meant that every second soldier currently fighting on the front lines already has an SVA-10 in his hands(which was my understanding)

Edit: One thing you might do is create improved flak jackets. They still won't stop a pistol round, but better shrapnel protection never hurts

Ok, serious discussion time. With the T-2 Ratel on the horizon and K-1 production really starting to ramp up, I'm of the opinion that the Badger's days as a front-line AFV have finally come to an end. I'm all for keeping the chassis around for utility vehicles; it still makes a nice platform for a mobile SPAAG to protect our armored columns from air assault for instance-we just need to update the weaponry, and we can always mount an 80 or 100mm howitzer for a light-to-mid weight SPG or assault gun, but I don't see ourselves continuing producing them for much longer. Your thoughts?

Also, should we even bother repairing the Glorious II? It's little more than a floating scrapheap at the moment, and the only reason to keep it is to have a cruiser around until we build another. I'd say unless we go for more than 2 years without designing and building a cruiser, we should just send it to the breakers

No, Glorious II is quite capable vessel

1) Priority target for the enemy
2) 320 mm gun is 320 mm gun and can be used for shore bombardment and far from useless against ships
3) Not a bad AA platform

On another note, I support test nuclear reactors. They are awesome for submarines. For those who want to prevent us from building nuclear warheads (Not that we have the capability for that), we can just use Thorium reactors.

So well, stuff I'm doing.

1. The Hunter submarine. (Need to rework. It was intended to operate against enemy military ships, which is not going to work anymore)
2. Radar airship (Apparently supposed to do that)
3. MRL turret (Multiple Rocket launcher, intended to be mounted on the back of trucks, but can also see some use on ships)
4. Rockets and general rocket improvements

True, but it can barely target ships with that thing without destroying itself :P. But yeah, if nothing else it can work as a shore bombardment platform

But anyways, your thoughts on the Badger? I was thinking if nothing else, we can upgrade them to the Mk-IV(the 400kw diesel and the HVG-40 and upgraded suspension) and use them for rear-area security(companies of badgers would be well suited to counter and repel any flank breakthroughs)

However, I got an idea for an SPG that's Badger based(note this is contingent on either capturing a large number of Capian field pieces or getting the factories we captured back in order)

Doorknocker. A program to convert some of our aging Badgers to self-propelled howitzers using captured 100mm guns. This calls for a workshop to be set up that'll take in 200 of the oldest Badgers, upgrade the engine and suspension to the Mk-IV standard, remove the turret, and bolt on a lightly armored open-topped superstructure that the gun mounts to, and add a pintle-mounted GVS-14. Care should be taken to allow for enough gun depression to ward off tanks in an emergency, but the main role of this vehicle should be performance as a mobile light-to-medium field piece

im fine with removing the badger from front line use and turning them to secondary uses.
but right now we need them as thay make up most of our AFVs.
we should first covert the mk1s with the diesel engine as there the least usefull to us.

do we have a good breech loading mortar of 120mm+ size?
