Not really what I had in mind, but thats why I did thermal, laser as if possible and left the main point open ended for the boss to work with.
Yeah, that's what I meant. Nearly all of the more advanced things we now take for granted require transistors/microelectronics... you could do them with vacuum tubes, but only if you want a bomb the size of a fighter

@mesor:
I believe that with the explanation of your votes, no rigging charges will come up. So, it's a win-win: You get to convince other people, and they have more fun ;-)

I kinda like the new 5 votes system, everything is much more organized now

I ask for way more votes for A production proposal , we can't afford  to lose factories to enemy bombers, surely Morovia will send even more bombers with the recent success. Radars+AA guns+new fighters will make a great surprise for them, else your new tank\small arms\whatever factories will  be bombed to destruction

Also, new fighters are  capable to clear skies over Capia for our ground attack planes (even our fleet of older biplanes can do a punch under that conditions, if any new ground attack aircrafts will go through, that will be a massacre)

I'm looking at votes now but one thing I can say right off.

I'm not voting on any of the 4 new artillery pieces mostly because with limited space voting on them and an AT gun is a waste of space and the AT gun has a longer shelf life.

Hmm not many projects that look good this year, the artillery, ships and planes don't look like much to me, have to wait and see what anybody else comes up with.

(( 1, Long shelf life and very high power. ))
(( 5, We need to get into the chopper market. ))
(( 13, Very useful once it's stronger and very easy to mass produce. ))
(( 14, I did design the rifle so it's obvious I'd support it. ))

As there are no votes for 3, one should be renumbered...

Another note about the turn, but I do believe that the continuation of the Carrier airship reached the nessecairy 3 votes. Well, some of the community vote counts let me believe so.

Proposal number 10, which according to the community vote count appears to have been voted by me, Ram, Brood and Try.

((Verifying that now.))

Reading comprehension. Then again, it did have 4 votes.

Yep, Airship carrier would be way more useful for our current warplan than assault rifle... (and way funnier to have)

More importantly, it's better to have a completed thing, then 2 uncompleted things that won't ever get the votes again. (Taricus tank frame is going to see very little use, I'm afraid)

Added subproposal for the transport plane, bit sad that we'll have no heavy airships, but think bit late to push them in

I'm still proposing it, but a sad thing of the limited voting system is that well, later post are not going to get voted on due to the mess it causes.

The other proposals will be more usefull. I plan to redesign our only submarine for stealth anti military warfare. As well as some general improvements.

Added subproposal for the transport plane, bit sad that we'll have no heavy airships, but think it's a bit too late to push them in

Why I think that 2.1 is better than 2

1)Our 1200kw engine is too heavy to put on wings  without straining them, and we have ongoing production of older engines.  My slightly weird 5 engine setup with 2000kw engine power is more than enough for the plane of that class, and the aircraft should be able to fly even losing several wing engines

2) It should be quite easy to retool from zephyrs, letting us to build them ASAP to be ready for paratrooping missions

3) It should be cheaper and thus we can make more

Anyway,

Note: I can't vote for myself, right? Because a sad result of the current system is that later player's proposals are very unlikely to be chosen.
