It's dark.

Silhouetted, umbral, shadowy.

You can't see anything, and your mind is empty except for what's around you.

It's also quiet.

Shushed, silent, unnoisy.

What will you do?

You think about... the opposite of darkness.

You call it... Light.

You feel something.

A gradient is now present, to define texture between light and dark. The light mixed with the dark and made the gradient.

However, yet with the defining touch of the now omnipresent gradient, there is naught to see.

What shall you do?

What is a sense, truly? An illusory impression of the world around us, formed by our own thoughts, and our ideas alone?

There is a gradient to allow you to see things, but there is nothing to see.

You imagine a powerful light. It does not dissipate into the darkness, but instead diffusingly giving more light than usual to the surrounding gradient.

You could probably sense it from anywhere. You shall call it the Beacon.
