Freeform makes a Lore roll to determine the properties of his shirt. He also moves through the northern door out of the building.
[3+1] It seems to give some kind of defensive ability...You walk through the north doorway.

Look for a way out... and get out of the building to get away from the other people for now. Then try to figure out much my stuff does.
Well, you can just walk through the doorway to the south...so you do. Then you look over your hat and pauldrons. [4-3,2-3] It's going to explode! You rip off your gear and flee, but a moment later can't help but noting that it doesn't explode.

Press the top button on the suit.
Suddenly, vines start to grow out of the floor!

Exit building via NE exit, if indeed an exit that is.
You head north-east out of the building.

Check my greaves and then walk west till I see something of interest or hazard.
[5-2] You don't know what they do. You wander to the west until you reach the edge of the peak. It's a long, jagged way down...

[6+1,4+1] The halberd can animate objects and the overalls have some sort of creative ability. [10-1,Ov.] You realize a way to hold it safely...then put your hand about three inches to the left of where you should have.

Multiply that by ten and you know how running an illustrated game is.

Also, oh snap! Vine explosion! Run north toward the end of the island/mountain/whatever. Try to escape.

Try to do a whole bunch of random stuff with my loot to figure out what they do. Maybe I'll be lucky enough one of the things I do get a "safe" reaction.

I would ask why fire can burn two men to death without getting hot enough to burn a book, but then I read "INEXTINGUISHABLE RUNNING KAMIKAZE RADIOACTIVE FLAMING ZOMBIE" and realized that logic, reason, and physics are all occupied with crying in the corner right now.

[5-3] You have no idea how to activate your halberd. Well, you can activate the hacky mode, or the stabby mode, or the look-intimidating mode, but not the animate-objects mode.

You run to the northern edge of the peak and look down. Very long, steep, and jagged. How do you plan to "escape"?

Examine the shirt and rag more closely. Grab the asterix to the SE.

[8+2,4+2] The chain shirt can clearly cause changes in form, lasting about 7 minutes and restricted to earthy, essentially mundane beings. As for the rag, it would be a boon if you were hungry, as it would help you find edible plants. You grab a pebble.

Walk away from the edge, jump to see if that does anything then kick a wall(make sure no one on the other side).
You walk away, jump (I assume not off the edge?), then wander back and kick a wall. Your foot hurts.

Begin to say a increasingly odd list of phases to see if they are magic girls greaves. Failing that, look for a button on them.

(The jumping was to see if they had featherfall or something)
