Cursed fish leather gloves

I just realized... Somebody somewhere at some point in time is going to produce a pack of condoms like this.

Thank you, Max. I really needed that mental image.

Does food count? I think Hedonism Bot would argue it does.

I once dropped approximately $120 just on myself for Sushi one night while my brother was in town. I think he might have beaten out my total. Several starters like gyoza and soup, a few bottles of sake, and then tray..after tray...after tray of food. Nothing came home in a doggie bag. The owners looked on horrified as we just mowed through it. I imagine we achieved a good number of American stereotypes that day, devouring their cultural delicacy like a pig set loose in the pantry.

Food, Sushi in particular, is the one place I tend to splurge. Otherwise I'm usually to be on the cheap side of things. Although I have been thinking about going all out on a gaming chair....

Ugh.

Well, there's my book collection.  I have seven double-stacked bookcases, some floor-to-ceiling, plus the stuff that's still at school.  It's not especially expensive, any of it, but I have an entire shelf just for dictionaries and a manga library that would make many people cry.  There's definitely a lot of "bought it just so I could own it," like the Hindu-English dictionary or the book on French law from 1835 (7th volume in a set!).

There's no such thing as too many books, Vector. I'm being completely serious; if I had the sort of money that would be necessary, I would buy a mansion and fill it with floor-to-ceiling bookshelves, and then fill those shelves. That, of course, would be followed by me cutting myself off from the world for a few decades to read all the books. There's a brief summary of one of my fantasies. Mm, I have fantasies about isolation with literature rather than having lots of really great sex.

Pretty good for a spambot, I would give it a 7/10.
Totally not a spambot. Aqizzar has been here since roughly forever. He was well established when I just lurked, years ago.
I'm really hoping that this is just a Poe cascade and not what it appears to be. :x

We gotta compare notes. Some of my stuff is completely frivolous. Still working on the manga, though as I have a secret love of trashy shojo, maybe that's to the good...

@Footjob, you can microwave most grains I've tried pretty easily through the microwave, even if they aren't packaged for it.

Actually as far as useless stuff goes I have a heap of deodorant I rarely use. Bought it because it smells nice, but then too good to use syndrome.

If you use it, though, you have an excuse to buy more!

Or hotwire a car and siphon gas in order to drive your books around. Hey, there's another reason why books are good: they give you the necessary education to pursue the life of crime necessary for maintaining your collection of books.
