I'm in.

Proposal: In the event of a crime, a player can propose a vote on whether a crime is a normal crime or a high crime. This vote does not happen unless the proposal for a vote is seconded by another player. These votes do not count for your one proposal every 48 hours. If quorum is reached by players voting Normal, it is a normal crime, and the player is fined 3 Money. If quorum is reached by players voting High, the player forfeits their player status for 6 hours. During those 6 hours, because they are not a player, they are not allowed to vote, or make a proposal. Doing so resets their timer. They regain their player status when the 6 hours are up, along with all their money, and their votes. If a proposal they voted on during this time passes, their vote does not count.

(Huff. That was a big one. I don't know whether that counts as multiple proposals or not. Anyway, can't vote, 'cuz I just joined.)

329. For The madness begins.

330.  For

331. For

332. Against If you wonder why, you're not thinking hard enough. Or I could be wrong and this one isn't as easy to exploit via changes as I think it is.

333. For Honestly, it doesn't matter to me too much if this doesn't pass. I'd like it to, but I can see where it would be a problem.

Also you forgot to remove 327 and 328 from the proposal list and add the to the old proposal list.

Like all forum games, its existence is existential. It exists for as long as people are willing to believe that it does.

Personally I think that we are waiting for the votes to be tallied.

Proposal:

Should quinnr fail to tally the votes for 72 hrs without giving notice, the first set of correctly correctly numbered and tallied proposals shall be taken as coming into force, even though those proposals AND/OR RULES are not listed in the first post.

Breaking a rule which has a quorum of votes, or passes due to an expired 48 hr voting timer, is still a Crime.

It is still a thing! If I don't tally in the 48 hours, feel free to post the next round of proposals. I should be able to tally around noon today.

And we shall call it...This tally!
No, we shall call it YOUR GRAVE.

CURSE  YOUR SUDDEN BUT INEVITABLE BETRAYAL! D:

(Watch this post for game updates in the coming minutes.)

Eww, internet 504 errors. Everyone loses 3 money. If this is slow it's because those errors keep popping up.

QuinnR, Andy_T_Roo, RAM, Timferius, Person, Playergamer, scelly9 all gain 5 money.

All proposals which would receive an odd or even number can only be proposed in posts with a matching odd or even date, according to their local timestamp (as recorded in the "Location" field of their user profile). Each new proposal receives a number 1 higher than the previous one, according to the order posted in this thread.
eg: this proposal would be 334, 1 higher than proposal 333.

336. Blargh more errors.

327 fails. 328 passes, with Quorum (submitted by QuinnR). 329 fails.
330 has more votes for, but fails as RAM voted against it. (Transmutation votes require full support.)
331 passes. 332 fails. 333 fails.

Excuse me, Mr Vote tally, sir, but rule 109 says
"109. Rule-changes that transmute immutable rules into mutable rules may be adopted if and only if the vote is unanimous among the eligible voters. "
I Do Not believe that 330 was a vote to make an immutable rule mutable, and as such should pass (under 103.3)b and 104), in a similar manner to other rules enacted in "This tally"

and "Betrayal" ... - the immutable 117. QuinnR is the judge, and will settle any disagreements between players over rules, after each presents a case as to their interpretation of the rules or other issue.. makes that a little hard without your permission :p

I'm amending proposal 334 to remove the last phrase (redundant under 108), according to rule 111.

334. All proposals which would receive an odd or even number can only be proposed in posts with a matching odd or even date, according to their local timestamp (as recorded in the "Location" field of their user profile).

For 334,335,336
All sensible rules imo ... Although i am always open to being persuaded to change my vote

Proposal: A player can spend 10 points to buy a "Building". The amount of buildings owned by a player is tracked in the first post.

(No, buildings don't do anything yet. That's up to the rest of you to build upon. Heheheh. Puns.)

There's no such thing as "points" (yet), we do have "money".
