It is indeed true that being on the receiving end of an invasion is extremaly taxing.
While it's sad to see Alkhemia go, it is not a game-killing event in the age of 100+ province empires. If on the other hand you were to go as well... well, the game would most likely fall apart.

Well the thing is, it's sorta just delaying the inevitable. Even if I win one or two battles with my angels, it doesn't really matter considering the fact all my temples are being destroyed and forts are being captured left and right. I really can't do much against the three biggest superpowers simultaneously.

But that's all my fault for balancing this whole house of cards on diplomacy. Lesson learned there.

I'm going to continue for my own sake though. Even if I lose half my provinces.

I'm sure it can't be fun fighting a good 65% of the world all at once. There's really no way to overcome that, so the effort must seem rather deflating. Another Ulm fort taken, or temple razed, or men killed. It's not fair, but I learned fairness wasn't part of Dominions 3 when Palazzo attacked me from behind in one of my first games while I was already occupied. The one where I had hydras. And of course my last game where I got ganged up on.

So, in the interest of intrigue and bolstering Ulm morale, I formally renounce my war against Ulm and their lands, and declare a new war against the evil Machaka. May the unspeakable monsters from the depths find the hearts of many trolls and spiders. It looks like I won't be needing that path to 470 after all!

I agree. You shift all your troops to Machaka, I'll keep invading Ulm proper.

That was a fun run not bad for my first Multiplayer game and game of Dominion 3 that went that long I'll maybe I'll join another game when Dom 4 comes out and I get the money for it.

If only, as I had hoped, Shinu, T'ien Chi and Ermor could have ganged up on Machaka while Marignon and I tried to deal with Ulm...my plans all to ruin! And at that turning point, I had to decide whether to form the coalition against Ulm or Machaka. The rest is history. At least the inevitable moment in every game I'm in, the point at which to fight Palazzo, has finally arrived. It's like a Mario game with Bowser. He's always there on that bridge, waiting, sometimes with fire.

Mrhappyface wants a rollback due to some confusion with turn submition.

I'm putting it here, so that you all might say whether you're ok with it. While I don't doubt Mrhappyface's integrity, I understand that some of us might have had a lucky event or battle result, and would be unwilling to part with the turn as it is.

As for me, I don't mind.
