I want to start a succession game with the newly updated masterwork orcs. The theme is orcs as surface-dwelling honorable savages, stealing and trading for advanced technology to become a force to be reckoned with.
The elves came in the night, without warning. They had bitched about us cutting trees, but we had no idea they would be so ruthless. Our warriors fought bravely, but our weapons were no match for the elves' mithril spears and armor. They held them off while the rest of us escaped into the forest, but then the elves and their beasts began hunting the survivors. I gathered with a ragtag band of survivors, and convinced them that our only choice was to leave and go as far from this forest as we could. We traveled east with only what we were wearing, living off the land. Along the way we scared a pair of dwarves into abandoning their wagon to us. All it contained was some mostly empty barrels and a bunch of rocks, but they must be important. The spirits have told our dreamwalker that they are the key to great things. At least we can eat the horses once we get where we need to go. I haven't had meat in ages. The beasts grew larger and more savage the further we traveled, but I dared not stop until we reached the sea.
"Imp" Olughlat, Clan Leader
I was a simple carpenter before the village fell, but I am the leader of our little tribe. I live for vengeance. I want nothing more than a room made of elvish bones.
"Deep Blue" Morguubkrat, Dreamwalker
I have never met a scrawnier orc, but he is wise far beyond his years. The guidance he receives from the nature spirits is invaluable, and he is surprisingly good with a bola for one so weak. He loves totems, dogs, and the color gray. He can't stand hornets
"Navatar" Snazguullatug, Ronin Archer
She was not of our clan, but joined us on our journey. She was exiled from her clan for reasons unknown, but I am happy to have her. From the way she talks about it, she has almost legendary skills with a bow. Too bad we don't have any bows. She is very strong and likes to rip off heads with her teeth.
Nagundazguuruk, Snaga Bone Carver
A pathetic creature, barely better than a goblin. He will be useful, though. He can make almost anything out of bones, and he had quite a reputation as a bowyer. He likes steppe aurochs for their strength, probably because he is so weak.
Buurnazogh, Leather Crafter
She was the wife of the clan's master armor crafter before we left. She knows the secrets of making lamellar leather armor, which we will need if we are to survive. She cooks a damn good stew, too. She has a weakness for the dwarven wine we stole; she has almost drunk the barrel dry already. She is constantly saying how much she misses the violet kite shield she left back at the village.
Gralat, Herbalist
He is the reason we haven't already starved to death. He can find food anywhere, and is great at growing plants once we settle down. He likes bullets, and geese for their formation flying. He wants a pair of peach colored mittens.
Ghorngoluurz, Mason
She is an excellent builder, with rocks or clay. Wherever we stop, we need to make sure it has clay for her to work with. She likes cedars, so she has good taste in trees at least. She ate all the dwarven cheese we took. She likes bones, statues, and ironclad mastiffs for their size.
