If you need more ino, check Masterworkdwarffortress/repository/icons/buildings, all the buildings have a screenshot in there. A few might be outdated, deleted or double, but you should figure it out. Just in case you want to add graphics to the wiki. ;)

Wiki experts: Is there a way to make the table sort?

I don't know, but you could take a peek at this page to see how they did it.

It's all Greek to me.

But what you COULD do is copy/paste into the sandbox, and then change certain values until the table reads how you like it, then post is in the page proper.

Sorry I can't be much more help, I'm also just now trying to learn wiki formatting.

The template on most pages is easier now than before, what is most needed is just adding text.  Example: open the DF Wiki, enter Masterwork and navigate to the main page, click on the left-hand link "pages that link here" and you'll get the lists like this one:
http://dwarffortresswiki.org/index.php/Category:Masterwork:Tattered_Quality_Articles

Pick one and just enter the text.

Huh...that was easier than I expected.  have "sortable" in the table class and make sure you have the headings as headings.

Category:Masterwork:Stub is another useful category. Not all stubs are in both of them, though, so checking both is a good idea.

It's all Greek to me.
I remember how that feels... ;)
If I have time, I'll add some more useful help pages. The ones on mediawiki.org are somewhat useful (at least for basic syntax), but they can't all be copied over easily (they use extensions that aren't installed on the DF wiki), and the DF wiki has some important differences not covered in the MediaWiki documentation.
Actually, it turns out that the Metal page uses templates to generate the table, which makes it a lot harder to determine what it's doing (personally, I don't like these templates much - you need to have one for every row in the table, which gets tedious to maintain).

Also: You can rate articles using the "rate" tab at the top - this is useful for categorizing them based on their quality/completeness. I just updated this script (it's autoconfirmed-only for now, until I add captcha support), so try it out when you get a chance!

after trying to figure out the template thing then finding the template (it didn't appear to have the sorting in the template itself) I went digging through the mediawiki stuff and found a page on sorting. Was a lot less complicated to get it implemented than I thought, just add one word into the table class and make the column headings real headings.

Just tore through a few pages for Domestic Creatures. Take a peek at the first seven to see what I did.  Still don't quite understand Wiki formatting, wish I knew how to link to other pages.

I'm done for the night though, I'll get back to it when I can.

I'm going to try sorting out the School of Wizardry if that's ok, think I've tinkered enough with Researcher's Study *chuckle* I believe I've got all the links going to the right spots now.

And done *grin* I'd love for someone to check it and make sure I haven't completely stuffed up.  School of Wizardry

The pages look ok, but there is a lot of work needed on the links. For your reference: articlename lets you link to an article. text to display lets you link to an article using different text. Links within the masterwork namespace will, by default, link to other MDF articles. A link of metal will go to the Masterwork:Metal article. If you want to link to a vanilla df page, place the "cv:" namespace before it. E.g. "cv:Metal" would link to the DF2012:Metal article (as would DF2012:Metal, but then the link would need updating when there is a version change.

It looks fine to me, although I did make a small addition :)

I knew it could be better, but that makes this much easier. I'll get to that later tonight when I have time. Thanks a bunch.

There is an issue within the creature lookup template in that it tries to link to articles such as caverns and pet attributes which don't exist within the masterwork namespace.

I don't know how to go into that template to fix that, but wouldn't it just be an issue of adding cv:-------- to it?

EDIT: Added pages for Magmalings and Waterlings, but because they are not currently categorized they do not show up on the 'Creatures' list, and are linked to only on the Changeling page. Can someone fix this, or even better, tell me how to do it?
