Magicmaker is an platformer-dungeon crawler where you create your own spells and adventure the way you want to!

     As you adventure, you discover different materials that add unique effects to your spells and robes.  Combine these effects to create all manner of spells.  For instance, combining an Optic Lens (Laser) with a Fire Crystal (Fire) gives you a laser that lights enemies on fire.   You can add a bunch of other stuff too, like Crystal Ball (Homing), Explosive Powder (AOE), and Rift Crystal (Teleport) to get crazy things like an exploding laser that seeks out enemies, lights them on fire, and teleports you around.

     As the Security Guard of Dörwall Community College (The preeminent wizarding school of the Dörwall area) you must jump, shoot, and explore through five levels to assure the safety of your colleagues and to complete whatever random chores they assign you.

It's kind of odd that you can only have two abilities at once - I guess it's more of a 5Ps wizard style than having an I-win button for every situation. Unless you get four massive-damage ingredients of grade A, I guess.

Currently rocking an AoE poison/fire enchant spell, dotting everything to death. Also m'fookin' homing laser wand, hell yeah. Really wish I could find a higher rank burrow thingy, though

Gwarble. Master level castle. Those frakking books. Anyone have a good method of avoiding getting bookraped? Dodge what I can, but not only are the buggers hard to see, they're fast and start coming at you at odd times

E: The answer was the ice cube... thing. Fairly quickly regenerating extra HP. Still dodging when possible, but the regular bit of extra ablative HP made the difference.

In other news, got a new scroll, which means a 4 material spell. I've now got a roughly 5-600 damage DoT bomb (Explosive powder, fire, poison, poison). It is beautiful. Upgraded wand, too~

So I managed to get an A ranked fire damage...threw it on my robe and the stealth one...pretty broken especially with the wand being able to teleport me 14m every half second

There is an item that turns your spell into a beam.

Bonus points if you get a four slot spell and add wall bouncing.

Edit:  Actually the butterfly, beam and crystal ball works much better.  Looks awesome too.

I need to stop playing this.
