I(well, the workers) was doing stuff outside, and had to check something in the inferior levels.
I forgot to pay attention, and get a cloud of blinding sand on my fortress.
All my animals and almost all my dwarves are now blinds. -vision lost- says the health screen.

Is it a temporary syndrom, or are they definitely blinds?
If it's not temporary... might i suggest it's a bit overkill against above-ground forts?
Dwarves don't know how to close their eyes or what?

Since you're around, I've got another. I've made it a habit in vanilla of adding the [TRAINABLE] token to the first species of giant predator that I manage to catch a breeding pair of, and will probably do the same here. I'll also probably want to armor them. I've gleaned from the boards that armored creatures have separate raws from their unarmored counterparts, and that they receive increases to both damage and armor. Is there a standard increase amount or formula to apply to their base damage and armor when making the new raw?

Also, do drakes lay eggs?

Btw, your mod is amazing.

the armoring adds a layer of iron or a layer or steel to their skin, and coats their teeth/claws with the same material. Thats all to it, they are not weaker or stronger, but more or less equipped with iron/steel equipment. Should be the same increase as a iron-armored dwarf vs. a steel-armored dwarf.

Drakes are wingless dragons (@Putnam), I renamed the duck drakes to duck. And yes, they lay eggs (@m-logic)

Weird, in my games the Drakes "born" like mammals, never see a drake laying an egg, unless they are some short of shifting Oviparous-mammals(?)

Less a bug, more an oversight. They are clearly reptilian, and therefore should lay eggs... maybe I didnt implement that.

Thanks, Meph, for the latest MW!

Has been awhile, that 've played Masterwork. So i figured out, that Kobold corpses must be stripped (guess, why they stored in my furniture stockpile). But whats with the stripped ones? Seems they'll never rot or creates miasma. Is this a bug or intended?

Its a vanilla df bug that let me to use these weird itemcorpses. They are items, they never rot. But you can sacrifice them at the temple, or throw them in the crematory, like anything else.

My jeweler just became possessed and grabbed a single item: a bone of armok. He turned it into a bucket...
Will I still be able to use it for the alchemy reaction? If so, will he have a negative thought when it's consumed?

No and No. the reaction calls for a gem, not an item, and artefacts in general can not be used in reactions.

So, this is embarrassing, but I never found adamantine while playing vanilla.  According to the wiki, adamantine must be processed using the strand extractor labor at the craftdwarf's station.  What has strand extraction been renamed to?
