[KOBOLD] - Bug reports and known issues.
« on: April 30, 2013, 09:34:00 am »

Title says it all. If you play the kobold camp version that is included in MasterworkDF and something just doesn't feel right, this is the thread to post it. A loincloth blocks a hit to the torso? Your thieves tunnel deconstructs? These are the right topics for this thread.

Please also post the mod version you are playing, the OS (win/mac/linux) and the tileset you are using. (Phoebus/Ironhand/Ascii/Others)

It seems that kobolds aren't able to dig compact peat...  Considering how soft even the hardest of peats are, I would suggest that even Kobolds might be able to dig it.

I can only trigger stone undiggable or make soil diggable. So the compact peat would need to change to soil, which doesnt drop boulders.

I don't seem to be able to boil eggs while playing as kobolds.

I am playing version 3 Masterwork.

For some reason, my kobold shell workshop (can't remember the name) won't take pond turtle shells. Where am I going wrong? :(

And racon; use the clay oven

Do Kobolds have a regular craft shop?  -- if so, are your shells still accepted there for crafting?
Can you notice where the shells are stockpiled (as globs in food pile, or as shell body parts in refuse pile?)

I'm fairly sure if you don't have temperature on, this will happen as afaik it's supposed to boil instantly

Also, if you've got wooden furniture in the dining hall, you have some big issues anyways.
This is Dwarf Fortress, not the Fluffy Wambler Express.

Had DF hang while assigning bedrooms.  I assigned the witchdoctors room and hit n by mistake and it appeared to be in a loop.

Are crayfish shells used for anything? My kobolds use turtle shells just fine but crayfish shells just stay in the refuse stockpile. When I try to order something like "make shell crafts" or "decorate with shell" I get the "no mat available" message.

I am not sure if this is a known bug or anything but my barrels and pots aren't being stockpiled for some reason. I can't even seem to use them for anything. Tried using the juicebar but it keeps saying I don't have any food storage item. Pots and barrels are made from clay and wood by the way. Also there is no reaction to apply glazes to earthenware items. Is that why you can't use them to store liquids? That can't be it since the wooden ones aren't being recognized by the juicebar reactions.  ???

Half the "Paint Furniture" reactions are missing, and I can't seem to dry tobacco despite having a large amount of un-stockpiled leaves.

Why is that? Doesn't Kobold camp use it's own raws?
