Might also have linking a stockpile to the slaughterhouse that wasn't the one with the carcasses.

I love stockpile linking. It is also now most of my supply chain problem. :) But I know where to look.
i had no stockpile links, nor burrows, so i'm really not sure what happened.
check slaughterhouse components to be not forbidden. just in case

I can only play with Blizzard men, I've turned off all of the races excluding dwarves and this still happens.

cant plant bitter root.
my civ doesnt have it. but i trade seeds with humans.
have 100 seeds and cant plant it nor aboveground plot nor undeground.
just no option in list at all seasons.

Some plants are biome dependent. That might be the case here.

thats not a bug, simply the fact that your biome does not support them.

changed(for science purpouse) in raws(savegame raws) from all_forest to not_freezing. it doesnt help.

Sounds like duped raws to me, are there any other strange things you see around?

Other entities composed of wildlife, perhaps?

No other odd quips, besides the odd characteristics of the blizzard men.

Here are a few more screenshots, I may play this through, if my world info is correct, dwarves should try and kill me. I want to see if this happens.

EDIT: Another pic of a swarms of wooly arctic flies add spice to my blizzard trolls food dens. That and miasma doesn't make them angry, cuz they are always angry.



EDIT: It crashed when I'm assuming migrants where supposed to come in. Would have been cool though. Having my own snow troll cave. Ill just start with a fresh re-install.

Reaction to create pestle are lacking in gemcutter's/woodcrafter's/stonecrafter's workshop.

And couldn't we merge pestle and mortar into one tool just called "pestle and mortar"?
Since they all used in pairs ,there is no need to make two seperate items.

And I cant transmute Mitilril to Tin because [PERMITTED_REACTION:TRANSMUTE_15] is missing in entity_default.txt.

craft rock scabbard is craft rock abbacus (type abbacus in the job manager, and scabbard shows up, looking at the raws, it looks like it

rock hourglass and journal show up, but abbacus shows up as scabbard (when adding jobs in the manager)

I've been having issues with transformations, it seems to happens mostly when i'm trying to make golems, but it also happens with the guilds and the garrison. The dwarves get the mats required, take them to the building, run the reaction and I see an announcement, but sometimes I don't get the announcement that pauses the game, the mats get used but the transformation doesn't happen.

If I go and change the caste manually with DFHack, it works, at least for the military and working castes, having tried golemification.

The swimming pools are producing a random item called just 'Stone'. It's that intended?

The couple of golems I've managed to produce, are always tired, is that ok? the don't seem to have any other issues.

Make sure your are playing with temperature on.  The transformations and what not are created by generating a boulder that immediately melts, triggering the syndrome that does the work.

Although, I don't think you'd see the announcements either if temp was off.

The other thing is to not set a reaction on repeat.  I only queue up one guild transformation at a time.

Give a dwarf a fish, you feed him for a season.
Give a dwarf a Fishpond, couple of buckets, build a Fishery, and enable Fishfarming labor; you feed him for a lifetime. (And get someone to clean and prep the fish)

They work. Autosyndrome and other scripts check only for the product in the raws, not ingame. The announcements even have PRODUCT:0:1:BOULDER, so it doesnt even generate anything.

Temp is on, the reaction for swimming is on repeat so I guess that's it. The reaction for for the guilds are not. And as I've said, it sometimes work, most of the time actually.
