Should Scaleplate/Chitinplate/Shellplate reduced to "Scale/Chitin/Shell", and "Rigid X-plate" to "X-plate". It would shorten names a lot.

I meant the material as in, magma proof stones have a red dot in the center, that's just what popped up into my head. :)

No, its the background. I changed it by now, now these little dots are grey/black normally, but white when the wall is engraved. I also made this, showing the different color schemes. I think CLA is my favourite, with the olivegreen for the grass...

Well I just had a drow caravan attacked and now have a metric ass ton of silk to collect and process. I will have to have this happen more often, and as a benefit its another elf that gets stomped.

edit: well the drow had their revenge. When my dwarves went to collect the silk and clean the entrance hall many died to being webbed in my very effective traps. had to channel water down the hall to clean it out.

edit:edit: and now several have gone berserk and killed more, leaving babies running around and others going insane. why oh why did i have to collect that silk.

This may be entirely in opposition to how you enjoy working Meph, but I wondered if you'd ever considered using a Linux-style release cycle for Masterwork (that is, even numbered releases being bugfix releases, odd numbered releases introducing new features)?

So, I've noticed that most of the embark profiles have remained unchanged. Any plans on tweaking them, just a bit, since skills like the tanning (which is now the diplomat skill) don't look too out of place? Or is it a deliberate choice?

Also, I looked at the tileset you've provided (which is cool, by the way) and I have to ask, why is there pink dots on the walls?

Also, can the manual have an explanation of what was changed to what? It's really hard to play orcs when you have to remember that diplomacy is tanning, etc.

can you tell me exactly what you're noticing so we can try to fix it before Meph's trip?  For example, I don't think the Orcs have any reactions using SKILL:TANNER anymore so you must be seeing something else. 

Is it the PROFESSION_NAME?
Shoot, it probably screwed up the profession graphic tiles too, didn't it?

@gamerlord: Tanners Workshop is build by Diplomacy, thats the only misnomer. All others fit.

@flip flops: Redoing them is planned, no worries. Pink dots were an oversight, I made them transparent now. They are for engravings, its dark when its a smooth wall, they are white when its an engraved wall. I will upload the tileset probably on its own somewhere

It is a useability feature.  Reason I thought of it was because I was talking to a fellow who didn't play Masterwork because of the bugs - and each new version, while usually fixing the last versions bugs, also has new features, which inevitably comes with new problems.

This is something I find frustrating also, though I usually play anyway.
