Should Scaleplate/Chitinplate/Shellplate reduced to "Scale/Chitin/Shell", and "Rigid X-plate" to "X-plate". It would shorten names a lot.

I was hoping it was an item flag, not a entity-group flag.

I might have something this weekend that does the job. A tweaked copy of the dfhack search plugin that prevents items/item types for a loaded list appearing in the Goods to trade or Bring to depot lists.

Mh. I just realize that the Wax-Worker is a completely free skill. I only use it for three reactions, candle(wax), candle(tallow) and wax crafts. I somehow thought that I cant access that last one, but it turns out I can. That makes it a skill I can rename and use like I want... interesting.

The dwarves all go on vacation with their girlfriends to Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines, paddling around on boats, diving and generally doing nothing but enjoying life for the next months.

You said you merged milling and threshing as professions. How did you pull that off? I thought that the flour/dye milling reaction was still in hardcode territory, just like plant processing.

Screwpress, Millstone and Quern reactions are in reaction_other.txt I can change them how I want... But you might be right with this one milling reaction...



Yep. The new miller can do all the other reactions, but this one generic reaction at the top would actually be done by the archeologist. That makes two errors at them moment. Archeologist has one miller reaction, and Ambassador has one tanner buildlabor.

I found a way to circumvent the tanner labor, but I dont think I can fix that with the archeologist. But it shouldnt be a big issue, because your miller will still do all the other, specific milling reactions, which replace the vanilla "mill plants" in its entirety.

The difference is that Maple Leafs is a name, while leaf is a noun (yeah, technically a name is a noun, but in this case its different). Maple Leafs is proper plural for the name, while leaves is proper plural for leaf (the thing) ^_^

Meep! That might drive us other Dwarf Fortress LPers out of business! (Coe is truly an awesome LPer!). On the other hand, maybe we (he and I) could do a DF collaboration... 

On a side note, he usually kicks my ass at Quake Live >.>


For actual Dwarf-related stuff: I just downloaded the new version and am gonna give it a good play-through; with a bottle of coke I should have enough caffeine to play till tommorrow. I'll get back to you on (the board, not Meph specifically) on how I felt the new guilds and stuff worked out. Looking forward to it :D

here you go: Phoebus_16x16.png, just copy it in your data/art, replace the old version. It changes the "used ammo" and all wall tiles.
