Should Scaleplate/Chitinplate/Shellplate reduced to "Scale/Chitin/Shell", and "Rigid X-plate" to "X-plate". It would shorten names a lot.

I have one suggestion related to archaeology, and I apologize if this has been mentioned previously. I'd love to have a better way to track just what I get from relics/fossils/treasure. Every now and then, when I queue up a bunch of stuff, I get busy doing something else, and by the time I look at what is lying on the ground at the archaeologists workshop, I might see a dragon scale or mithril shoe but I missed them putting away the rest of it, and don't realize I got something nice until I stumble upon it later. ("WTF a pattern wolfram war hammer?? Where the hell did this come from??")

Mostly, I wouldn't mind an option that allows you to toggle on and off the forbidding of the reaction output, i.e. the objects obtained from the archaeologists study could be set to be forbid automatically. This way, I could go to the workshop whenever I want to and look through the list of what is one the ground and remove the forbid tag at my leisure, clearly seeing what my goodies are.

I usually setup a few stockpiles that take only from the Archeologist and nowhere else so I can find it easily.

I've noticed that if you want to use the tempple reaction to stop tantrums, it usually finishes too slow for it to make a diffrence.
Maybe it should use one, easily stockpileable item instead of whole bunch of them? Add a reaction using the current ingredients to prepard the "offering" tool perhaps?

Can control time, accelerating and decelerating stuff, over single targets or large areas. Can also cause creatures to become older (If that is possible) or younger. (Normally, it will attempt to make children older and old people younger) with large cooldown.

Or make enemies dies of old age...  :o

Probably won't work on anything that can survive a few hits from a battleaxe, though (other than a candy-clad dwarf).

Regular syndromes can change a creature's maximum age, right?  That might be close enough.

Am I right in assuming frag mines work by lung disabling syndrome rather than something more realistic?
It just came as a kind of suprise when (apparenly) immune creaturees strolled right through the field, but armor clad dwarves inhaled the shrapnel and died when going to grab some drinks. I figured kobolts would be gibbed ,where dwarves would take a good old armor polish treatment. At least they had the common decency to leave their valuable equipment in the meeting area rather than outside the gates.


Didnt stop the tantrum though.


Also, how low are the requirements for certai events in this mod? I have to say, I didnt expect a flying megabeast to swing by my incredibly poor fort during year 2. Oh the giblets. Also, warlocks. The way I remember they were supposd to be a late game threat, yet year 2 here we go.

Time has nothing to do with it. Try reading the raws alongside the wiki--it gives a lot of insight to mechanics.

Well, yea, I worded that like a retard. What i meant is around which time would they normally show up if we take normal fort growth rate into account. It just seemed weird how guys that are supposed to show up when you hit certain wealth and pop just decide to go in regardless.
