Here I go, maybe once someone drops out or dies, I might slip in. You never know.
Name: Genivis Torell
Gender: Male
Description: Young human man of lanky statue, average height and with a mop of longish brown hair, usually unkempt. He has gray eyes and a long, unassuming face. For all his looks, Gen is an ambitious man, however he often succumbs to envy and overestimation of his skills as a result. As such he is prone to go underhanded or be untruthful if it helps him, but his skills didn't give him much chance to exploit these options. He does not see the need to be overly brutal to people and has nothing against those that do not bar his way - for his ambition he is not overly arrogant.
While he has been in few scraps, he is not fond of physical violence unless forced to.
Background: Genivis was born as a bastard son of Baron Torell and his court sorceress, who was quickly banished after the child was born. Baroness hated the living proof of her husband's infidelity and the man himself cared only a little about the child, hence why he was raised among servants of the castle. His birth was kept secret form him, although small acts of kindness from the staff and from his father from time to time meant that the boy was not completely alone. His dreams of being a knight were quickly shattered as he was reminded of his bastard status and learned of his real origin. His envy and ambition grew out of that. Subsequently he was forced to flee the castle after Baroness tried to kill him.
After fleeing Gen adopted his father's name (albeit unlawfully) and decided to achieve greatness despite his tainted origin.
Initially he hoped to be acepted into a college where he would learn and make a living as a scribe, but his orign and lack of fund yet again barred his way yet again.
He decided to earn his living in less savory ways while abandoning the studies. However he did not get far, as the group hat he got involved in left him to be caught during a burglary gone wrong. He was seen as a useless thief and a no-one, so after a brief jail sentence, he was thrown out back onto the street. His luck never held as he wandered form one odd job to another, ending up as as a loose wanderer, far away form his home region.
During those wandering years, he was found by his mother, who took him on as his apprentice. The brief period of respite did not last long as his mother dissapeared after local town declared her a witch. She was never found, leaving Gen alone and untrained.
