The other Galaxys are now accessible via the black hole wormholes. According to the patch notes, they use a new wormhole drive polarity.

I'm working on setting up a system to produce ships about 10pc from the Shores of Hazeron black hole. I can provide berthaports to it, provided I'm online at the time.

quick bump, if youre going to attract new players the lag system does need to be worked on, i think it comes down to ping rates, not sure how u would address that, more servers perhaps, smaller refined packets or the ability to turn off the gal comms channel

It could be addressed by allowing a little bit of leeway on client side movement to server, only downside is the server would have to check that what the client just did was a valid movement, this was seen in rubberbanding that happens in online games, if its better or not, who knows.

Haxus doesn't come on here. Better to send that to the actual SoH forums.
You act as though dozens of people haven't already said the exact same thing on the official forums. Pretty sure lag is the #1 complaint about the game and I'm sure there are as many "fix the lag" threads there as there are "fix the UI" threads here.

I *love* the concept of Hazeron, but I've always said I wouldn't go back until the lag was fixed. Why they haven't dedicated more time to that issue is beyond me.

Well ... new try in 2015.

I'm not in the Bay12 empire since I have a successful one of my own, but it seems someone is trying to make diplomatic contact with you guys.

For those interested, the first prototype of the new designer hit today (and of course, theres problems, but its basically a full modeling suite using http://www.opencascade.org/  to do nearly anything).

First problem: due to a debug issue / dll problem, designer doesn't work on win64, gotta use win32 (or linux).

Going to take forever to make shit, but lotta power there (and I need to bonk Haxus so theres some standard Hotkey functions too, so its not just a really frustrating Blender)

Specifically, the Hazeron 32 version, not windows version (so you don't have to reinstall windows).

I probably should have been more clear on that :P

Edit: more info I guess at least, http://www.hazeron.com/designertut1.html

Wow, I'm... curious how that translates into playable ships.

Does this mean like, fully sculpted custom ships?
