And that's how an ambitious-but-flawed space empire sandbox morphed into an interspecies sex simulator. It's like Spore meets Leisure Suit Larry.

Maybe he does know what he's doing, and he's seen the vast untapped potential income from the furry community and has made steps towards... accommodating their tastes?

I'm interested to know how exactly it differentiates boning from piggy-back rides (the wiki wasn't clear) and whether the offspring are bound by the same character point system that the parents are. Could early city growth be accelerated by a more 'hands on' approach, I wonder?

The game tracks how many avatars you've made pregnant too which I find incredible. Compete with your friends for high scores!

How are you supposed to convince an NPC to go along with this, I wonder? Is the best way to accelerate population growth to never make clothes for your civilians? The wiki says it should take "several days" (though the kids will grow up within a few minutes), depending on the size of the parents. So if you make an empire of tiny rabbit people, and are really, really bored, every few days you can have 50% population growth. The restriction that children will stay within the bounds set by the parents phenotypes restricts the potential for DFish selective breeding, but it would be possible to replace an existing population given time. The update also mentions the "invading alien penalty" associated with not matching the host population closely enough, so...

I believe that explains a lot.

How are you supposed to convince an NPC to go along with this, I wonder?

You can't. Apparently he expect you to rape them instead.

How long until someone writes an article calling this game "Rape Simulator"?

Probably never. Hazeron's way too obscure at this point to get that kind of attention unless one of the handfuls of people that don't like what Haxus has done with it decide to get some sort of petty revenge. Even then, it probably won't be very noticeable.

Yeah. The feature itself is pretty cool (creating 'demiavatars') but it's a rather strange presentation.

You should really look to the wilderness for your stealth ideas, it has been doing it much longer than you have after all. Take squids for example, that ink trick works pretty well, and in water too! So you just sneak into the dam upsteam, dump several megatons of distressed squid into it, then break the dam. Boom, you suddenly have enough water-proof stealth for a whole city!

He's destroyed it well enough on his own, so there's really no reason to bother. Besides, "any publicity is good publicity."

I'm calling this one a first ever feature in a game. I have never heard of any other game that permits players to have sex with each other or NPCs, get pregnant, and produce children that are a sensible combination of the parents' DNA. Then to have those children become players in the game themselves, in various capacities based upon their lineage.

Isn't that exactly how The Sims worked?

Also pictures or it didn't happen.
