And, I just noticed that I forgot about my reserve vote. So, if it's still possible, I'd like to
vote for A7, the improved aviation engine. Hard choice between it and the better rockets, but that's necessary for the next generation of fighter.

One of the passed production proposals mentions a Badger TD... I don't have one in my list. Was this something that made it through and had a design completed? If so what year was it?

I believe that it was a proposal to mount a badger with a heavy, hull-mounted gun. To be used as a self-propelled anti-tank gun. I believe that it was proposed either this year or last year, possibly both. I do not believe that it has been voted in during any turn updates that I have seen.

Note: specialist engineers are getting to annoying to track, decided to just convert them back to regular engineers.

Tank modernization
Set up a program update the K-1 design with two 400kw diesels, a larger, 3-man turret packing the new, powerful 78mm, and a redesigned suspension improving ground clearance and off-road performance. At the same time, upgrade the Badger to the 400 kw diesel(this should probably be the last Badger chassis mod), as well as also improving the suspension for better performance(especially high speed performance). This should get a few more years out of current designs

1 veteran, 2 experienced, 5 novice, 1 green and 3 engineers have been assigned to, and completed this task without incident.

K-1 Thunder Mk2
Weight: 48 tons
Width: 4.2m
Length: 7m
Height: 2.2m
Engines: 2x400kw diesel
Front armor: 35mm 42 degrees
Side armor: 30mm, 62 degrees
Rear armor: 25mm, 62 degrees
Top/Bottom: 20mm
Crew: 4
Speed: 55km/h
Armament: 78.3mm AT cannon, 1 coaxial Patriot MG, 1 GVS-14 above the commanders hatch

Badger Mk3
Weight: 16 tons
Length: 4.5m
Width: 2.7m
Height: 2m
Engine: 400kw diesel
Speed: 70km/h
Crew: 3
Front armor: 20mm 42 degrees
Side armor: 15mm
Rear armor: 15mm
Top/Bottom: 10mm
Armament: 1 40mm HVG cannon, 1 coaxial Patriotism, 1 patriotism mounted above the commanders hatch

-----------
120 cannon
Design a 120mm ship based cannon with high velocity to at minamum match the 160mm cannon and if possible surpass it also add an auto loader system built into it to enable the best possible rate of fire. Use information gathered from Capian 100mm cannons to help with the design if any examples are intact. Focus on velocity and accuracy.

1 veteran, 2 experienced, 5 engineer, 11 novice were assigned to this task, and completed it with great success.

120mm cannon
This somewhat more compact naval artillery piece features a high velocity shell for 1.125 times more penetration when compared to our 160mm artillery.

Weight: 8 tons
displacement: 40 tons (+armor, 80ish tons)
Max Range: 20km
RoF: 6 rpm

-----------
T-2 Ratel:
Restart the new tank program, with new specifications. The armour is to be 70mm on the front, 50mm on the sidesand 40mm on the rear, all sloped at 45 degrees. The hull's top and bottom are to be armoured at 20mm thick. It's turret is to be designed around the new 78mm gun and should be able to hold the gunner, loader and commander comfortably. Two Patriotism Mk2 guns are to be mounted on the tank, one mounted in the hull, and the other mounted ontop of the commander's hatch. The tank is designed to have a radio built into the hull, in order to allow co-ordination between tanks and HQ, though this ups the number of personnel required for the crew to five men.

updated: It should be built with the new 900Kw engine, and utilize a new torsion-bar suspension system

2 veteran, 3 experienced, 6 engineer, 9 novice were assigned to this task and completed it without incident.

T-2 Ratel
This tank slightly smaller than the K-1, but is much more heavilly armored. It carries a single 900kw diesel engine and 32 tons of armor. Unlike previous tanks, this tanks secondary machine gun is mounted in the hull instead of in the turret. Each Ratel is fitted with a radio system

Weight: 70 tons
Length: 6.7m
Width: 4m
Height: 2.2m
Speed: up to 45km/h in ideal terrain
Engine: 900kw diesel
Speed: 45km/h
Crew: 5
Front armor: 70mm 45 degrees
Side armor: 50mm 45 degrees
Rear armor: 40mm 45 degrees
Top/Bottom: 20mm
Armament: 1 78.3mm HVG cannon, 1 Patriotism in hull, 1 Patriotism mounted above the commanders hatch

-----------
Design a naval patrol aircraft. Probably four-engined, with load changeable between depth-charges, torpedoes and bombs. High operational ceiling and take care about range - ideally up to the enemy mainland

3 veteran, 3 experienced, 9 engineer, 1 novice were assigned to this task and completed it without incident.

Unnamed Naval Patrol Bomber
This flying boat features an internal bomb room with racks for up to 2 torpedo's or up to 4 tons of other bombs. These bombs are wenched up and out of doors above the water line so that they can be dropped from racks at the base of each wing.

Wingspan: 28m
Weight: 28000kg fully loaded
Engine: 4x1200kw
Armament: 1 14mm HMG nose turret, 1 14mm HMG rear turret
up to 4000kg ordinance
Crew: 9
Speed:
unburdened: 350km/h
Fully Loaded: 280km/h

-----------
Radar Airship
Commence design of a Radar Airship, based on the earlier enlarged airship design. As expected, it carries a RADAR and long range radio equipment. Addittionally, some machine gun mounts are added for basic self defense. Ideally, the Radar system is a seperate gondola from the main engine gondola, and can be replaced by a cargo gondola or a carrier gondola. ((It's intended capacity is not large enough to do both))

3 veteran, 5 experienced, 11 engineer, 12 novice were assigned to this task and completed it without incident.

Radar Airship
This airship uses the new v12 high altitude engines for several times the power of the original airship. It mounts 4 HVG-14 machine gun positions and 4 Patriotism mk3 Machine gun positions. In addition to its crew gondola it can carry along 2 additional gondola's. A radar unit providing a mobile air detection system, A bomb bay capable of dropping 20tons of munitions or a unit capable of launching, retrieving, refueling and rearming up to 5 low speed aircraft (such as your biplanes) on hooks. It can operate at long range and loiter for nearly a month.

 Mass: 100 tons
 Crew: 15
 Speed: 80km/h

-----------
Develop a 25mm autocannon, prioritizing ballistic characteristics while still allowing a rate of fire adequate for an automatic gun. Give some thought to keeping the overall weight of the weapon down to allow for mounting in a wide variety of situations

11 engineers were assigned to this task and completed it without incident.

GVS-25 Jackhammer
Caliber: 25mm
Action: full auto
Weight: 100kg
Barrel: 1400mm air cooled
Length: 1600mm
Magazine: belt fed
RoF: 300 rounds / minute
Effective range: 3000m

25mm high velocity round
Bullet:25x40mm
Cartridge:30x200mm

-----------
It seems the Morovians have improved their torpedo, so we need increased detection ranges to pick them and the subs up at longer ranges for evade and attack maneuvers. Take our existing sonar and develop a two-stage or multi-frequency sonar able to use low-frequency sound waves for detection at long ranges, and high-frequency sound waves closer to the target for identification and localization.

1 veteran, 2 experienced, 9 engineer, 5 novice were assigned to and completed this task with great success. Your Sonar range has been extend to 4km for all new ships. You will be able to distinguish between size classes of contacts as well.

Improved Sonar
It produces a directional accoustic signal pulse capable of detecting submerged vessels by scanning a 45 degree cone and providing an approximate range, heading, depth and class of contact out to a range of 4km.

Weight: 20 tons
Special: scanning, depth finding

Select one bonus:
More range: 8km
Easy upgrade: no refit required for old ships

-----------
Arguement Mk3
take the Arguement RPG and modify it again, change it's explosive to a high yield directional charge designed to penetrate heavy tank armor. Increase it's size if required but do not exceed infantry size. Use 1 explosive engineer for sure then any other experienced engineers possible.

1 veteran, 5 experienced, 6 engineer, 1 novice were assigned to this task and completed it without incident.

Arguement Mk3
This new rocket is incompatible with the previous rocket launchers and comes in a single shot disposable tube. The size of the shaped charge penetrating warhead is increased again, requiring a larger rocket to propel it towards its target. It is capable of penetrating up to 55mm of armor and weighs 20kg.

-----------
Improved aviation engine
Improve our 1200 kw  aviation engine. New version should have same power, shape and dimensions but become somewhat lighter, more fuel efficient.

Cieling Improvement
Devote as many aviation engineers as possible to developing a system to allow our planes to match or exceed the enemies operation ceiling.

8 engineer, 3 experienced, 2 veteran worked on these tasks and completed them without incident. You can retrofit your old engines to meet the same altitude tolerances or even replace them completely (for aircraft using v12 aviation engines) to save weight as well, either case will require an allocation of workers to the task.

Improved V12 Aviation Engine
This lighter and more efficient engine design is optimized for fuel efficiency and retaining horsepower at high altitude with a more advanced fuel injection and air intake system.

Weight: 800kg
Power: 1200kw
Special: fuel efficient, high altitude.

-----------
Again attempt to upgrade the assault rifle, focussing on accuracy, velocity and ROF in that order.

2 experienced, 3 engineer, 1 novice were assigned to this task and completed it. By switching over to the lighter Morovian 6mm rifle round, you can increase accuracy, velocity and RoF with only minimal losses in damage and penetration.

Assault Rifle Prototype c
Assault Rifle
Action: full/semi auto
Cartridge: 6mm Morovian
Weight: 4kg
Length: 880mm
Barrel Length: 415mm
RoF: 900 rounds / minute
Magazine: 30 round replaceable external box double stacked.

6mm Morovian
Light Rifle Round
Bullet: 6x12mm
Cartridge:10x42mm

Suggest 2 more 8000 ton naval yards both outfitted for production not repair, and modify the newest 8000 ton yard for production as well.

The 2 Capian 6000 ton shipyards are upgraded to 8000 tons. Considering losses, the govornment wishes to keep one dry dock free for the repair of our naval assets and will not be rebuilding it.

The 32 unmounted 78.3mm AT guns produced from the factory this year are mounted on towable trailers. You easilly provide enough workers to complete this task. 9 novice, 32 workers, 7 experienced, 1 veteran, 1 veteran+ are assigned.

-----------
Rebuild all destroyed/damaged factories (if not done so already).

18 novice, 113 workers, 25 experienced, 19 veteran, 1 veteran+ are assigned to complete the reconstruction of 7 destroyed factories.

-----------
Instead of a prison, make it an open compound with privacy and independence permitted. There should be twice-daily roll-calls, all external communication should be monitored, leaving the site will require an escort, and it should be protected from external attack. The guards should be encouraged to fraternise with the prisoners and there should be some interaction between our own engineers and theirs. We should make an effort to show them the benefits of everyone working for the betterment of all!

By the end of the year a "not slave camp" is constructed nearby where 20 Capian engineers are placed under the watchful eye of the military.

-----------
L: Let's start propaganda efforts:
- Moldavia is firebombing our civilians. Send shocking pictures to worldwide press, local press and whatever warcrime offices we can find.
- Try to smuggle pro us propaganda in among the Moldavian people. Internal revolts are fun
- Persuade the Capian president to surrender his country and army.
- Pro us propaganda in Capia too

Do not worry comrad, we have been transmitting the glorious tales heroism and the ideals of our great nation day and night over the radio into Morovia and Capia, as well as through loudspeaker in captured Capian cities.

-----------
Remaining idle workers at the govornments request produce:
3000 parachutes.
209 towable gun trailers for already existing 80mm low velocity guns.

*******************************************
Before Action report:
With strong recruiting efforts, our infantry strength is back up to 59k.
61% of them are armed with SVA-10.
77% of them have a pistol for a backup weapon in addition to their bayonet.
Of the 23000 not armed with an SVA-10:
5% carry 40mm Dogma Mortar
30% carry SMG's
36% carry Patriotism MG's of some type
21% carry Argument/Scorpion AT rockets
3% carry Argument Mk2 AT rockets
17% carry shotguns
less than 14% (around 3000 or ~8% of the total) carry Mosin Nagants, next year the Mosin Nagant will most likely be completely phased out.

Our 107 transports and 196 gliders provide the transport for over 5000 airborne troops.

Our 77 Battle Bus and 1718 cricket armored cars provide transport for over 15000 armored infantry, and our 225 KTT trucks provide for aproximately 4500 additional troops for unarmored but rapid movement.

Our 667 light (40mm) towable, 241 medium (78.3 to 80mm) towable, 94 Hammer (160mm) self propelled guns begin to offset the Capian artillery advantage.

On the seas, our lack of cruisers puts us at a distinct disadvantage against surface fleets.

In the air, 846 frontline (Zypher and Lightning) aircraft and 527 support (feather, wolverine, bomber airships, etc) allow us to match the Morovian air power.

*******************************************
After Action report:
Morovian sub attacks continue...

They perform long range torpedo barrages against multiple harbors. The smaller submarine attacks on shipping grow slightly less frequent. Once again we manage to locate the Morovian submarine support fleet at extreme air range, it appears to have merged with the remainder of the Capian navy with 3 Capian Cruisers, 4 submarine tender ships, 2 of which have look like they have been refitted with a thick flat wooden deck to protect from bombing from the air, 2 capian frigates, 2 Capian destroyers, 5 Capian escorts, as well as a half dozen unidentified Morovian warships in the 500t to 2500t range. Our air attack was able to damage the fleet, sinking 1 of the sub tenders, damaging one of the cruisers and sinking a number of the smaller ships before they were able to evade and leave our air envelope. As many as 30 Righteous PT boats continued pirsuit, but few of them returned.

Our Naval Losses:
2 subs
2 Alexi
3 Alexi 1337
1 Popular Devotion Support ship
5 Popular Devotion ASW ships
20 Righteous PT boats
8000t Capian shipyard damaged  (half production)
1800t ASW shipyard damaged (half production)
4000t submarine yard damaged (half production)
70 non military ships

Our Naval Gains:
12 Old 300 ton Morovian subs
7 new 300 ton Morovian subs
3 new 900 ton Morovian subs
45 non military ships
4 Capian escorts
2 Capian destroyers
1 Morovian submarine tender
1 damaged Capian cruiser
1 Morian 2500t frigate
2 Morovian 500t ships

In the air war, with 100% radar coverage of our coasts and industrial areas we are able to intercept 80% of enemy bombing raids, and destroy or turn back 30% of aircraft before they reach their targets. We are able to destroy 15% on outbound flights. This gives us a 36% effective air defense. Additional interceptors, earlier detection or more complete coverage may be necessary. Morovian bombers also now mount a rear turret with 2 12mm HMG for defense. Bombing missions near the old capian border are also escorted by long range Morovian 2 engine fighters.

Air War Gains:
131 4 engine Bombers
92 2 engine long range fighters

Air War Losses:
90 Lightning Interceptors
15 Shark
12 Wolverine
40 feathers
20 thousand civilians
1 of your factories taking 30 workers with it,
1 portable radio factory
1 hammer SPG factory
1 Cricket factory

In Capia we continue our advance and push to the Morovian border at great cost, but in the end we manage to drive up to the Morovian border. Our artillery disadvantage has been dwindling as the advance of the front line slows, allowing more of our medium artillery batteries to move into place, but more significantly as our larger number of towable and self propelled guns increases. The increase in infantry AT weapons also plays a major role in allowing us to outflank the Morovian TD's on the battle field.

Ground War Losses:
14000 infantry killed our disabled
355 crickets destroyed
4 Battle busses destroyed
5 KTT trucks destroyed
262 badger tanks destroyed
53 hydra AA vehicles destroyed
78 K-1 destroyed
118 40mm towable cannons destroyed
15 towable 80mm towable cannons destroyed
4 78.3mm towable cannons
4 Hammer SPG destroyed
80 80mm cannon in fixed emplacements destroyed
13 160mm cannon in fixed emplacements destroyed
30 80mm AA cannons

Ground War Gains
100% of Capia Captured
66 Capian heavy tanks destroyed
336 Capian light tanks destroyed
15k Capian soldiers killed or captured
2000 Morivian soldiers killed or captured
200 Capian artillery pieces destroyed
124 old Morovian TD's destroyed
76 new Morivian TD's destroyed

Proposal 2, design a 240mm cannon using the same principle as the 120mm cannon. Aim for the rate of fire of a 160mm cannon but with the power of 320mm cannon.

Proposal 3, a large external fuel tank that can be placed beneath the main body of a plane and dropped with the push of a button.

Proposal 4, design a system that will increase the operation ceiling of our aircraft to match or exceed that of our enemy.

Proposal A, suggest assault rifle C and the argument MK 3 to go into mass production with 2 factories devoted to production.

Proposal B, suggest that at least 5 squadrons of interceptors and lightnings remain in the air at all times to cut off enemy bombing runs over the ocean, alert fighters to be launched to reinforce those squadrons in battle. This will dramatically reduce the effect of enemy bombing runs.

Proposal C, suggest that the veterans of the invasion from all armed forces be combined to form the 1st division valiant and victorious and perform a large media campaign to inspire other soldiers and civilians alike with tales of heroic victories.

Proposal D, suggest repair of all damages facilities including the Capian dry dock.

Proposal E, suggest large mine belts be placed at the max range of the enemy subs to deter future attacks.

5)Gorgon. Upgrade our current Hydra SPAAGS with an updated turret carrying at least one of the new GVS-25 Jackhammers(preferably 2 if possible). Design it to still be mountable on the Badger chassis-while also eventually going on the K-1 chassis as K-1 production replaces Badger production-as well as giving it improved compund sights better able to engage ground and air targets

6)Doorknocker. Create a 120mm SPG based on the Badger Mk-3 to replace all our current towed 80mm guns. replace the turret with a lightly armored superstructure that the gun will be bolted to, taking care to insure the tank is a stable firing platform for the 120mm. Recall 200 of the oldest Badgers and start refitting them as Doorknockers

7)Warthog. Create a mobile engineering/AR(armor recovery) vehicle based on the K-1. Replace the turret with a small armored crane, put a plow on the front, and several strong winches on the front and rear. Put a couple semi-armored GVS-14 emplacements as well as a chassis-mounted patriotism for self-defense, and insure that it can hold a squad of engineers and their equipment

-1.1)Update the Courageous design by replacing the two single 320mm turrets with a twin Cod-C turret forward and a single Cod-C turret aft, and replacing the two twin 160mm turrets with two twin 120mm turrets, as well as 8 twin HVG-40 open mount emplacements, and 8 Jackhammers(or 8 Gorgon turrets if designed), as well as the updated sonar

F)Refit all current ASW designs with the new sonar as a high priority

G)Build enough factories to get all the new designs into production

H)Start rotating all of our oldest tanks into workshops to refit them to the new tank models(taking care to not impact force allocations too much). In fact, I suggest that any tank that comes in for maintenance in the future is also refitted to any newer models if applicable

I)Pull all our largest shipyards to work build Courageous cruisers as soon as they are designed

8. Design Lightning(c). Our current Lighting but armed with punishing  three 25mm Jackhammers. More anti bomber aircraft designed to operate in conjunction with Lightnings(b) (unfinished 10 machinegunned one), Use all the experience gained to design another slightly different shape prioritizing speed over maneuverability. Variant to be designed to engage bombers in hit and run attacks avoiding duels with nimbler aircrafts (that's a job for Lightings(b) that should accompany Lightnings(c))
Note that this is not replacement of -3, we need both

9. Design new torpedo boats to replace Righteous (Righteous 2) Use diesel engine, remove ability to transport troops, replace 40mm gun with 25mm gun, replace 4 8mm machineguns with 1 14mm machinegun, try to fit more torpedoes (new ones if designed)  and more mines while keeping the same size and  wooden hull
Righteous is a very-very dated design and war going in the way that we'll never need to do amphibious assaults with them

10) Design new, better torpedoes ( feel free to sub that with details)

11) Work on ground attack helicopter armed with two Jackhammers

A.1 Just retool 3 of 4 SVA-10 factories to the new assault rifle, and build two factories for Argument MK-3

J. Build new factories\refit old ones to build Lightings (b) and Lightnings (c)  in 2 to 1 ratio ( 66% of Lightings(b) and 33% of Lightnings (c) ) Should those designs get completed

K. Our own workers to build Arguments Mk3 and Ratel tanks to get some to the front, before specialized factories are ready. That's to sway the tank war in our advantage

War must be, while we defend our lives against a destroyer who would devour all; but I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend.
