"I agree. H1 it is."

On the way, run a quick diagnostic/debug on the AI.

While en-route, Erin grabs some crew and has them help her armor the interior of the Fire Control room.

If'n we might run into pirates, t'wouldn't do ta have our guns shut down by a lucky shot.

Get some rest and be on standby, with my gear.

Brood
You order three of the deckmen to arm themselves and report to Loading once the ship reaches the nebula.

Maldevious
You lack the expertise to reprogram something as complicated as an AI. Not even the engineers could do it.

Doomblade187
You go to cargo two and find a place to lie down, making sure to keep your rifle close by.

Flying Dice
You walk into the Fire Control room with a dozen menials carrying armour plates and welding equipment. The Gunner turns his head at the noise, then swivels in his chair and stands, crossing his arms and assuming an irritated expression. Now just what in the hell do you think you're doing? I heard what you did to the engine room. How do you expect to do that in here? You look at the huge bank of computer cores and terminals covering the walls, and realise he's right. You can't exactly weld plates over the screens, and the room itself isn't vulnerable from above like the engine room was. You dismiss the menials and leave the gunner in peace.

---

Captain Valten looks up from the information console attached to the command seat and keys the ship-wide intercom. The Endurance is entering the gas cloud as we speak. Long range sensors are offline and we are switching our systems over to sound detection. We're in the shit now boys.

The ship glides for a few minutes and the bridge is tense with silence as the crew waits for a contact. Minutes pass. Suddenly Johann's head snaps up from the sensor terminal. Rush Asters, thousands of them! On this course we'll pass right through the pack! Valten hits the intercom switch. All hands man your battle stations! Native contact imminent! Brace for impact! The ship rocks as it slams into the rolling mass of astral life, crushing hundreds of them at once against the hull. Shit! That pissed them off! The aggressive creatures slam themselves into the hull repeatedly, trying to kill the massive beast that invaded their territory. The crew rushes through the ship, gathering weapons and seeing to their various tasks.

Run back to the engine room and try to prevent an explosion this early in the game.

Attempt to steer the ship out from the center of the pack, but not too far away for our weapons to do their work, either.

Waiting on Zanzetkuken. Combat has been initiated so we now have to go all at once. Anyone who doesn't think they'll do any good belowdecks can go outside and help fight.
