Modern magi (I'm in need of like three more mages!)
« on: April 25, 2013, 05:36:06 pm »

Hello friends... at least I think we were friends. But now is not the time for that. So I forget how did we all meet?

Option A:  We were sent to guide a mage through life. (This causes this to remain a suggestion game)

Option B:  You all died but I saw your potential and am making you mages. (This causes this to become a role playing game.)

Chose wisely... or not.

This is now suggestion and roleplaying!

For roleplayers please fill this out

Name:
Main God: (Determines primary magic and how you gain XP)
Secondary God:  (Your other magic type)
Gift from your god: (What is your starting weapon)
Crafting:  (How do you make consumables)
Perk:  (Your starting perk)

B. Roleplaying is more engaging than a suggestion game.

So we are going to be guiding another brat? Great. So, who are we doing this favor for?

Option 1:  Armok:  (We get a blood mage)
Option 2:  God:  (Air mage)
Option 3a:  Satan:  (Heat mage)
Option 3b:  Satan:  (summoning succubi and shiz)

For the ones who want to roleplay, make up a stats list and I'll moderate them with rules.

GOD. Telekenisis at it's high levels overpowers everything. EVERYTHING.

Has to be Armok for two reasons. First, blood magic is inherantly sure to be interesting. Second, the term Blood Mage just sounds cool.

TELEKENISIS. If we can go as far as I think I can, that means black holes. Atomic manipulation. Moving worlds!

That would be my second choice, though you have a bias because it's the closest to serving an eldritch horror. Telekinesis can't invoke the power of PAIN and through that insanity though. I envision giant blood golems which were once our enemies and have been manipulated through constant pain to become monstrous rage-filled abominations who only wish to end their existance while punching as many things' chests through their hearts as possible on the way.

If precise enough, we can set off the nervous systems in our enemies. Total pain.
I may be slightly biased in that I think telekenisis is the coolest power, but that's because blood magic needs blood to work. Telekenisis just needs anything.

If you keep arguing I'm removing telekinesis from the list.
