Look this is hardly a disability contest.

I offered my information up because I felt no need to really hide it (and given I am high-functioning and my depression is meaningfully gone).

We do not need to scour the earth for certain categories.

Actually why is this on life advice?

I spent a few days in a mental hospital a few weeks ago. Woke up in a pool of my own blood and vomit. Guess I'm lucky that I actually woke up. The doctors think I have some sort of psychosis, probably schizophrenia because that runs in the family.

I also have some minor learning disabilities.

Depression, probably. I mean, I never got diagnosed and I've been to a therapist a few times for short bursts, never really pulls through but most of the time I can only assume they think I have it. I have constant feelings of self-loathing (Not to mention general loathing towards everything and anything), and generally feel like shit most days of the week. At least I don't have suicidal thoughts, which is a plus I guess.

Well I certainly couldn't put it in General discussion, This requires users to share their personal disorders. I just put it to see how many people are going through hell, I mean when you yourself suffer It really makes you feel not alone in this mess when you know that so many are going through the same thing. Plus I was very interested in seeing the variance of the results.

Eh. . . I apparently am on the autism spectrum, almost certainly used to have PTSD, and have some sort of cyclical depression thing I actually don't mind all that much because I've gotten accustomed to it (sort of like a very annoying pet cat).

Which means that it probably doesn't qualify as clinical depression anymore, but whatever, I can't be bothered.

I'm dyspraxic, so I suppose that counts as a learning disorder.

I don't really have any glaring disorders. I agree with some of the previous posters that the need to label each other and ourselves is pretty interesting though.

If autism is a spectrum now, doesn't that mean that everyone is on it somewhere? Legit asking, not trying to be snarky.

Not really.
That's like saying "If green comes in shades, isn't everyone a shade of green?"
You're so far on one side of it that the scale doesn't cover you.
There's an imaginary line labeled "not autistic".

I was very embarassed about my dyspraxia and was reluctant to get any kind of real diagnosis from a specialist but once I did I found I was able to understand myself better. Now I know that I just take longer to learn how to learn how to do a physical task. I also believe it affects my thoughts in as much as general disorganisation. Fluency in speaking/writing on the internet may also be affected.

i have a question to ask: what if you dont have a particular disorder that is very severe, but may have mild versions of those disorders? i was never diagnosed with anything and all the surveys and self-tests that i took to find disorder showed only minor co-relation (i consider this meaning milder, but hey everyones a bit crazy), do i still check the ones in the poll that i am minor-ly affected by? or should i only check that i have no disorder?

Obsessive-compulsive disorder and recurring depression here.  I clicked "other" for the OCD because I wasn't sure if it should go under "general anxiety".

I really don't know how serious your conditions may be, but in a way there is no 'normal' person like you said, everyone is a little 'crazy'. For me I draw the line and consider it serious when it really affects your life or really cripples you, then again some of the mentioned ones don't always do that and people can live with them.

I have mild OCD as well as Tourettes syndrome. I barely feel any of them anymore, but when I was younger it was a huge problem - it was literally impossible for me to go more than 5 minutes without having to stop and perform some weird ritual. Control of the impulses came with age, though, and my psychologist doesn't think it'll be a problem again.
