It's not just about being different. It's about having quirks and oddities that are harmful to you or the people around you. I can't think of a disorder that is desirable.

Yes you're right, my bad I should've written everything instead of anything. Devils in the details :)

Anxiety & depression for me. It's what I have been diagnosed with. I would have put seasonal affective disorder (in "other") too, because I fit the bill, but I am wary of diagnosing things myself.

Well I have never been diagnosed with anything but I guess I live with some kind of mild OCD or something like that. I have a real easy time to develop silly routines that make no sense, and even though I know they make no sense I start feeling a bit twitchy if I do not do them. Two examples are leaving my car and going to bed.
When I leave my car I must check that I locked the door by pulling the handle 3-5 times, then I must check twice that I have turned off the lights, then pull the handle 3-5 times again. Then I can leave.

Going to bed, you know that feeling that you have not turned off the oven? I have to check that roughly 5 times before I can go to sleep. Even if I have not used the oven. I can check that the oven is off, then go to bed only to have to go up and check again because maaaybe just maaaaybe I turned it on the last time I checked that it was off...

So yeah, complete nutter here :p

Hey, atleast you will likely never lock your keys in your car without knowing.

Hmm, dwarves are all clinically depressed by default. Does this say something about our psychology?

Well other than being depressed, some of them are also tense and jittery and others are very quick to anger, sum it all up and it pretty much describes me.

Bipolar, but I've got beyond the depressive states. Mostly manic now. Take a look at my online stats. The hours when I'm less active are actually my work hours! I'm a real live wire.

It's not just about being different. It's about having quirks and oddities that are harmful to you or the people around you. I can't think of a disorder that is desirable.
Bipolar Type II is pretty great at times. Really, if not for suicidal depression and terrible apathy, I'd be quite happy for it. Interesting emotions and changing ways of viewing things.

Odd, I read (or heard) somewhere (not any old place, studies or something, I just can't remember specifically) that the suicide risk was more of the manic stage.

Anyway, I don't think I have any disorder (maybe extreme laziness disorder? Procrastination syndrome?). I do however have the subtle urge to kick anyone who says "neurotypical" in the face :D So far I've managed to keep it in check.

That's cool. My doc said it was weird when I said I considered killing myself the most when happiest. Perhaps your data is more toward Type I though than Type II?
By suicidal depression I wasn't making a point about the risk of death, but rather that the depression gets pretty bad.
Type II is cool because you can often just use antidepressants to help; you don't have to worry about controlling a particularly dangerous upswing as well.
