So, our species (from that list) is going to have:

 Head feathers
 Long fingers
 Better panting ability
 Wilful sweating
 Reduced fat
Non-perspiratory method for cooling the body, such as feathers/capillated hairs/other fancy coverings
 Uric acid instead of urea
 Larger lungs
 Increase the amount of mitochondria
 Avian lung
 Multiple lung sacks(4)
Urinary tract to pass liquid waste off into the fecal slurry near the end of the small intestine
 Shorter limbs
 Stouter limbs
 Shock-absorbing
 Durable
 Extra Muscle Mass
 Faster Reflexes
 Thicker bones
 Stronger muscles
 Two hearts
 Digest grass

Also side project is Velociraptors and ecosystem-friendly livestock.

I wasn't entirely certain what was up with the cattle. Whether it was to make cattle to process the native life to more palatable products, or copy their digestive tract, or whatever else...

I'm not so sure about increased mitochondria.
They'd have to be modified to respire anaerobically at only 25% the oxygen level that ours do; and it would increase the amount of body heat to get rid of.

You thank the man, and head into your lab. Setting your books on a table, you begin work on the concept. (Just let me know when you're ready to actually try out your species, I'll start the trials.)

Well, the closer we keep it to normal humans, the less edits we'll need to do and the more money we'll get for doing it ahead of time. Anyone want to crop down the edits, or keep them as it is?

I'd remove the long fingers, the increased mitochondria, and the two hearts.
The others are all good ideas though.

I vote to add dwarfism and take out panting, wilful sweating and reflexes. Possibly even tone down sweating so it only happens if they are desperate.

Didn't we just vote on stuff? let's make a couple of these homunculi and then see what sticks.

Wow. That's a lot. Good luck to a GM who tries to sort all that out...

Yes, in the interests of an exciting game, I vote to make a few experiments using the current ideas. The moral implications are a touch unnerving, but that is unlikely to reflect badly on us...
Indeed. Although we could improve it by pointing out that we don't want to screw up horribly and ruin the lives of thousands or millions of future people. A few slightly defective people are a small price to pay to avoid that.

Wow... I'm like a five-year old in a whorehouse. I thought this would be simple, but I've learnt more from this in a few pages than a month in biology class. :o
I'm glad to have helped and a bit ashamed to be indirectly compared to someone who runs a brothel.

I'd like to remove the second heart, the increased mitochondria, and the willful sweating. I'd also like to add ectothermy, but from the looks of it that's not going to get many votes, so...

Just as a note, increasing mitochondria will not help to increase oxygen efficiency*. You don't solve a fuel crisis by adding extra engines.

I propose that we scale up the levels of red blood cells and hemoglobin instead. That way we can optimalize oxygen absorption.

*Mostly because mitochondria do the aerobic part of the glucose cycle, not the anaerobic part.

"Optimalize"?
But other than that, sounds good if bigger is, actually, better. Making red blood cells bigger has issues, though. Those issues are called capillaries, which are often so slender red blood cells can barely squeeze through them.

"Optimalize"?
EDIT: Never-mind, it is a real English word.

Scale up the levels (as in, amount), not size.

That could work, yeah. There's a bit of diminishing returns, of course, but it's worth a shot.
