Starcrafting: A spaceship designer game(Suggestion Game)
« on: April 23, 2013, 09:37:01 pm »

So yeah, these recent design games are so fun I'm making my own! I'm shamelessly stealing borrowing all most of the mechanics for this one from UR's earlier spacecraft designer game

It is the year 2xxx, and you've just graduated from The Institute of Star-craft Design, the most prestigious spaceship engineering school in the Republic. You still can't believe it! All the hours of studying for your tests, the lectures, the design classes, and now you can finally start working on all those grand ideas you had for spacecraft travelling the stars! You unroll your diploma to look at it once more-hang on, it looks like they might have accidentally printed a few errors on it! You're pretty sure your name isn't Joe Shmoe, it is.....

Alright, I need a name, age, gender, and 3 specialties in descending order from most important to least.

Example:
Name:Laura Kroft
Gender:Female
Age:23
Specialties:Armor, engines, sensors

No. I suppose there are similarities, but I'm fairly certain angry birds doesn't let me charge into a battalion of knights with a car made of circular saws.

Clearly running multiple missions at the same time is a terrible idea.  The epic battle to see which team can cock it up worse has escalated again.

And Larry kinda gets blueballed in all this; just left with a raging bone spear and no where to put it.

....hhmmm, I should say you should be more specific with your specialties(sorry, bad example from me). Like for instance: Composite armor, fusion engines, railguns

Edit: Also, I'd say cloaking and energy shielding should be mutually exclusive

so id just take cloaking devices and energy shields then...
damn, i knew shields and cloaks would be mutually exclusive but i was hoping to be able to grab something like "energy sciences" and get a hybrid diploma of shielding and power generation :P

Oh if this is another suggestion game nvm, it's just gonna result in arguements again I thought it was going to be a group of players each with a character.
