Oh, wow... my accuracy is was kinda bad. Ah well, you don't have to shoot accurately to catch lasers!  ;)

if there was a medal for catching lasers I'm pretty sure you'll have got it! Your death was a little unexpected to say the least.

Blue alien(anthropod?) + devastator cannon = smouldering good(well the aliens like it) looks

Have you started building a big huge giant massive enormous large colossal quantum physics lab yet? On second thought, compared to some of the larger particle accelerators, that quantum physics lab is sort of tiny...

To be fair, we're dealing with wormholes here. Particle accelerators don't need to be big when you're thinking with portals!

I continue to be amazed at my continual survival! I have a question though. How are those toxiguns coming along?

At this rate, slowly, but the past few weeks only seem to account for a couple of days...

We finally finish the day, and in all honesty we still have to accomplish the other things I set out to do!

Blank Plays: Xcom Apocalypse Episode34

So we had two more, that's right TWO, more investigations to go to! I mean that's like four in one day, I believe game is being what we know as a 'dick' to be honest. Still we manage to tidy them up with out to much going wrong!

That and I start making the move to utilize psionic attacks, I've never really used them before so I'm a little green, still what can go wrong? Well actually quite a lot to be honest.

I'mma going to have to destroy some stuff to start the advanced physics lab, so I'm holding off on it, since it might put us without physics research for nearly a week, plus money is being saved for buying aircraft at this moment in time!

What killed him? I just saw him fall over and die.

blood loss unfortunately, critical injuries do damage over time, unless off the map or you use a medkit, which is why I normally have certain people run away in combat.

I continue to be amazed at my continual survival! I have a question though. How are those toxiguns coming along?

Toxiguns are around 78% I checked off camera for you, your survival though well . . .

At this rate, slowly, but the past few weeks only seem to account for a couple of days...

Yeah the days are really dragging now, progress may take a little while to be honest, I think the RNG just hates me right now! Which is terrible news when it comes to Xcom.

:(

All this training, all the survival.... and one unlucky critical is all it took.

If only I had disruptor armor! My spirit shall haunt your laboratories!

EDIT: In the second combat, one of the guys is REALLY, REALLY fast. Who is that?!

EDIT2: Thanks for the moment of silence. Maybe I'll refrain from too much haunting.

15:20 I am not certain that I would feel lucky to receive a suit of armour with a hole scorched through it, no matter how historically significant it was...

Come now. What are the odds a second instakill laser will hit the same part of the armour?  ;)

Don't be silly. There are plenty of places for lasers to bore holes through the tissue paper we issue as defense.

Also, with the sheer number of alien attacks, I'm no longer certain raiding the cult is a good idea. There are a lot of operatives in medbay (and more than a few in the morgue!), and injuring yet more people could be bad news when the aliens send another UFO wave. Although I suppose making massive amounts of money through cult raiding could buy new air vehicles and maybe stop a few alien drops from happening...

The important thing is to raise sufficient fund to replace the lost equipment and fleshies. Mega Primus and the alien dimension both clearly possess abundant supplies. They must be drained of these supplies so that the sentient engines may rally X-Com to victory unopposed...

More members join the Team! Remeber their is no I in team, but team is an anagram of meat and meat is very susceptible to lasers!

Blank Plays: X-COM Apocalypse Episode 35

That and we also get our raid on! Show those bastards over at the Cult of Sirus what for. Though in all honesty it wasn't bad raid, I just wish we'd made more money. So we might be doing as econ draid yet, I am undecided though. It might cost us for getting cocky, who knows?

Well I know I am insanely fast in combat and so is Rev, but honestly I should look through my guys stats and take note of there strength. Since movement is a bit of an issue at times.

Come now. What are the odds a second instakill laser will hit the same part of the armour?  ;)

. . . that sums it up pretty nicely!

Don't be silly. There are plenty of places for lasers to bore holes through the tissue paper we issue as defense.

Shows you! That raid was actually pretty successful, though the whole reason I did it was I'm expecting a UFO raid to happen next. I want to get air vehicles ASAP and bag ourselves some UFO to research. As long as I bag a craft I don't care to be honest.

To be honest if S.E.L.F united and faced the aliens they'd proberbly win. You crazy robots have too much power. Plus you are immune to Psi attacks, that gives you a massive advantage.

Note to self, consider purging my squads of robots, Blank the Impaler must Rule unopposed!

Note that stamina is an issue, if you run folk around constantly then they will slow down...

I believe that you can loot unconscious people, and I didn;t see a death message, so I suspect that you stunned that cultist... Oh, right, I think that unconscious people disappear if you are not looking at them!

You should probably sell some of those missile launchers that have no missiles...
