Ok we I have some good news and some bad news . . .
Blank Plays: XCOM Apocalypse Episode 30I mean the good news is we make it to the end of the day, finish up researching devastator cannons and get paid. The bad news? Well lets just say the aliens kicked our asses again. Though we are now in a position to pull things back, I never thought it'd be full of up's and down's like this. If anyone makes it to end game I'll be bloody amazed!
Dammit Blank! You had about a minute to save me! And you even acknowledged I was about to die!
Now come on, you gave your life for XCOM, you are a hero! Or something like that.
I survived!!!
Consider yourself lucky soldier, this isn't a game any more. . .
In retrospect, I think we all think you should have just destroyed the building on the cityscape
That stops you doing missions in the building. It doesn't stop the infiltration.
My suggestion: grab some healthy guys from the second base. Recruit some completely expendable disruptor fodder. Give them equipment by hook or by crook, even if it means stealing it from your other guys. Give everyone a couple of stun grenades along with their guns, and medikits where possible. Then go attend to that alert with at least 8 healthy agents, and make stun grenades your first thought when you see the anthropods or skeletoids.
I kinda took that advice and it nearly paid off, so I blame you for what happened! I jest, but still I personally think it would have been better to sit that one out and just let the aliens have that one. It would have still been a difficult mission regardless I reckon.
Also you are right about blowing up the buildings as well. It's kinda pointless in a way, but very cool looking!
I AM ALIVE!! And those brainsuckers? Never had a chance. I -EARNED- my damn promotion!
That you did man, I'm honestly amazed that anyone survived that mission! Well done kid.
Hey if your going to recruit any new laserfodder I'm looking for employment.
Next episode you'll be in the team, however that may not be as awesome as you think. Just giving you a heads up, XCOM'ing is dirty business.
the F keys control attitudes, but I forget how. Page up and down go up and down Z-levels.
This in in the olden days, when keyboards could be used for everything!
Keyboards are awesome, fact. However I just prefer using the mouse, takes only a few seconds more and more importantly lets the audience see what I'm doing. That's the main reason I don't just blaze through this game at million miles per hour.
