No it was a thing, I’m just sad it wasn’t more of a plot point. It could’ve been that Dany accidentally sets off the wildfire by burning down the Red Keep and that’s what destroys the city.

Wouldn't undo the utter lack of intelligence of the battle. It'd actually make it dumber, since it'd mean there were so many caches and yet they couldn't find and use them when they tried.

Plus I do believe Dany deserves to end up worse than an accidental mass murderer considering she's still a despot with a selfish end goal. That the show failed to pace it correctly (and that the characters seem to brush everything aside) doesn't mean tyrany ain't where she was headed on her own.

In Spanish we dont say GoT. We say JdT. Which resembles "jodete" ("f**ck you")a lot. And that captures perfectly the spirit of the producers in this last season.

Btw: did you hear about the "sicansios" affair? As it turns out the translators are asked to translate with an unexplained bsclk screen without a proper script to avoid spoiler leaks. This resulted in them mistranslating "she cant see us" as phonetical gibberish ("Sicansios!) Which made it into the released cut

So I don't have a great grasp of Spanish but from what I understand of this article and the guardian article is that besides being a joke this is also being used to highlight the poor work standards that script translators and voice actors have? Is that really a big thing or is it just a side thing of this?

What I heard in the media is that they were supposed to do the dubbing without actually watching what was happening, and the ones writing the translated script didnt even get a proper script but were instead expected to do it on the fly only listening to the voice track. So it was this particular case, nonwithstanding they might or might not have shitty working conditions. I read that they get 120€ per short episode, 1200€ for a movie. No idea on how much time that is.

I can tell you some of the "classic" dubbers are famous for other reasons. Eg: Constantino Romero (dubbed James Earl Jones and Clint Eastwood among others... and he did it well too. IIRC he was actually congratulated by the flrmer) was a famous TV presenter besides his dubbing antics.  No idea if established "voice of X" make more money.

The leaks came true. I can't believe it. My brain bleeds for witnessing dumbfuckery of this magnitude. For a while there I thought they were going for a 'the Iron Throne is no more, the Seven Kingdoms split into seven independent realms once more because enough blood has been shed over one Throne' which I would've enjoyed. Then they did it, the absolute madmen. What the fuck was that scene. Why? What? Why does Tyrion's little story about stories actually convince anyone? Why does Bran even want the throne? What? Did DnD just throw darts at possible characters to figure out who to crown? Okay I guess he's a figurehead why would that seem like a good idea to anyone? Why is Bronn on the council? Jesus Christ I guess this lot isn't any more incompetent than anyone else who's been sitting there. If you let Sansa be Queen of the North why don't all the other realms demand to secede as well? And Arya sails off to adventure okay I guess I have no idea what her character motivations are supposed to be at this point.

At least Jon got to nope the fuck out beyond the Wall and Ghost got his pets.

I guess I kinda liked the beginning of this episode. Right up to the election scene, I suppose.

As much as I kinda liked the little council scene because it made me think of better times, and in my mind it isn't long until people start stabbing each other in the back again, it was pretty out there when it comes to "fucking bullshit". Bronn is very obvious pandering, but eh, I don't even mind that much when looking at the rest of the stuff that happened. There's of course the theory that Bran is just lying when he says he doesn't want anymore, and orchestrated being on the throne (though I doubt 3ER is evil/NK puppet theory being a thing, just a dude with dude ideas), but the whole QUEEN IN DA NORF brings so many problems with it that I am pretty sure if it actually happened, whole Westeros would be on fire in a week. I liked Jon stabbing Daenerys in the gut on the sly. All I could hear was "HONORABLE NED STARK and WOULD YOU HAVE DONE IT and KINGSLAYER and BURN THEM ALL". Something something parallels.
Also, Westeros is now elective monarchy. Who could have guessed it was a stand-in for PLC all along!
