Don't take me wrong, I am not saying that show is better than the books, but it's still damn enjoyable, and if there is anyone to be blamed for dropping quality of writing, it's GRRM, because he has not finished his goddamn books. I mean, what, do people expect the show writers to be on the same level as GRRM, or maybe were they supposed to delay the show until the book series is finished? They'd have to find replacement actors for everyone or pull a sudden 50 years stasis to explain why the fuck Daenerys is now wrinkly old lady.

To be fair, it did show skillz. You'd never expect someone unused to medicine to be able to conduct what must have been a very delicate surgery, with no anaesthesia, successfully with only written instructions and no previous experience.

Mad King was somewhat bad for business, due to being, well, Mad King. And while Cersei just told the dudes who hate slavery that they must be mad at Daenerys for getting rid of it, it does present a point for Iron Bank - Dany is stronk, will not let anyone fuck whith her, while Cersei, despite their JUST AS PLANNED, is ultimately stupid and knows nothing, and will be easier to manipulate. If she does indeed give monies back to Iron Bank, they might just stay out or even support Cersei.

Braavos was founded by refugee ex-slaves who were enslaved and transferred to Valyria by the Valyrians with their dragons, forced to work in the mines until they were destroyed by heat, exhaustion or poor work safety standards. This is also the moment when the faceless men are born, the faceless men start mercy killing their fellow slaves, get better at killing, start killing Valyrians.
Eventually some of the slaves manage to escape, whereupon they found a hidden city in Braavos. After Valyria suffers the doom, the Braavosi come out of hiding, sending emissaries to all the other cities and Kingdoms, opening Braavos for business.
For this reason Braavos is vehemently anti-slavery, being one of the only cities in Essos where the population of slaves is 0 and slavery is utterly illegalized, they're so maximum freedom they don't even have feudal serfdom.

When they hear that Danaerys Targaeryan aims to conquer Westeros with reborn dragons, it's disheartening for the Braavosi to say the least. It means the Valyrians are back, the dragons are back, and Valyrian world conquest will be soon.

With that said, looking at it further, it's unclear whether the Iron Bank are supporting Cersei at all. It seems to be that the Iron Bank is only there because their supported candidate died and most importantly, Cersei promised to repay their debts in 2 weeks. It could be that the Iron Bank are just waiting for Cersei to repay her debts, are possibly going to buy her anti-dragon weapons, then bugger off back to Braavos. Also they liked Robert Baratheon, as he did repay all his Iron Bank interest - Littlefinger was his master of coin, and repaid the interest with Lannister loans. Hence why Cersei either had to use the Reach's grain and goods to repay the Iron Bank (which would indebt her to the Reach) or default upon the Iron Bank (realizing the Lannisters ran out of gold).

Likely, Cersei's promise to kill dragons and repay debts has won her the Iron Bank's patience. Not sure it has won her their support, but defo their patience

The emissary never said anything about supporting slavery, and dodges the question. Only Cersei assumes so, which, if anything, means she's just ignorant as fuck.

This is why it's not set in stone who they will support - on one hand there is slave-freeing Daenerys, who is a Targaryen and is known for destroying set rules, some of which might bite Bravos in ass one day, on the other is completly ignorant Cersei, who will ultimately be more "stable" choice, even with her pretty apparent madness, since she is easy to manipulate and isin't an Targaryen with dragons, and she wants to pay back the debts.

IMO, I think the Iron Bank will just accept Cersei's cash and then fucks off with it, trolling both sides to extreme degree, and only showing up after the war.

She already refused to pay in the show as well, which is what resulted in them switching to Stannis - Stannis promising to repay the Iron Throne's debts. However with Stannis dead and Cersei promising to repay in 2 weeks, it seems they're willing to overlook this, especially as the only viable non-Cersei alternative is Dany Sue

While yes, Stephen Dillane basically said he didin't really enjoy the show, he also criticized some certain parts of plot burning Shireen and some other things, IIRC, and said he completly didin't understand where his character was even going at that point.
Don't mistake Game Of Thrones as some sort of fan project - it's hardcore money grubbing venture, the actors basically dictate nothing (one of first thing that comes to mind is Maisie Williams saying that the chase was way overblown). They get paid to play, and they play their parts, some of them might enjoy it, some may don't. Dillane is proffesional, he is one of actors who went as far as changing his accent (not by much, but he noticeably mimics Renly's), and if there was more for him to play, he would. But there simply wasn't.
