Meh. Using the same logic I've been waiting for the Hound to reappear, but it hasn't happened yet. Starting to think those "no kill shots" are the basest form of introducing hope and ambiguity for its own sake.

After Brienne beats the shit out of him he begs Arya to kill him, but she doesn't, and leaves him bleeding and bone-shattered on the road somewhere. In the Hound's own words, he wouldn't survive the beating he'd taken.

The statement is: The Hound DID die, after he was brought to the monastery. And certainly, we see the Hound's horse - but no hound. There is also a grave for him. The theory comes about that the Hound is dead, but Sandor Clegane lives on - it was a metaphorical death.

Sansa don't need to be recaptured by Lannisters for Cleganebowl to happen. Since Frankengregor is already Cersei's champion, and if the Sandor Hound of the Baskervilles is alive he's working for a priesty fellow - Frankengregor (on behalf of Cersei) in combat against Sandor (on behalf of the High Septon).

The thing is that, just like Stannis, Cersei cannot die because there's a prophecy stating that Daenerys will ruin her shit. And IMO it's unlikely that Sandor will come back just to be killed off out of hand...

The prophecy refers to Margaery, who is younger, better and takes everything from her - right down to her hair and pride.

And... I don't recall the writers showing any of Melly's book prophecies about Stannis being the antichrist. He may be dead for good.

Also, if Cleganebowl happens it won't be quick. Look at Mountain vs Oberyn. Took a good few episodes to get there. Cleganebowl is real.

At any rate, they'll show gravedigger before Cleganebowl. Then we'll know.

I thought the people saying Mannis Stannis the Brannis maker was still alive were full of shit, but looking over it I have my doubts. The cut to black thing I don't find that convincing, it's possible but not proof. It could just be that D & "you need bad pussy" D are full of shit, which is possible, but one thing I had pointed out to me was that Stannis starts off fighting out on the frontline on the frozen plains to Winterfell, yet falls down fighting in the forest. A quarter of his men also withdraw to the forest before the Bolton cavalry charge into them, and we are yet to know of whether White Harbour joins Onion bants or not. It's possible that the half of his army which deserted did not desert, but was sent out by Stannis - the army which left just so happened to have his horses and be his best men. A ruse to get the Boltons out of their fortifications, which even without losing his own supplies would've been able to outlast Stannis through the Winter. Though then again, 20GOODMEN rip in plos

Roose said nearly all of Stannis' men were mounted. The men that left would've had to have taken a lot of the horses, and 20GOODMEN somehow manage to kill the horses and make the men desert with the rest. Yet Melisandre leaves on a horse in spite of there being no horses.
The mounted division are off somewhere...
