Also I think him along with most Northerners talk with a Northern accent. It gets heavier the more north and less rich you go, it seems.

I did like, though, how they killed off Stannis (who appeared to be on his way to being the Messiah) and then immediately after that killed the obvious next-in-line to be Messiah.

Stannis' stronghold is on a volcanic island, probably the largest known source of dragonglass within reach of Westerosi hands. Stannis still holds Dragonstone as far as Jon knows, and it'd be much easier to make a deal with Stannis for some dragonglass than to beg the southern Houses for their priceless one-of-a-kind Valyrian weapons.
