Wouldn't an alliance with Stannis also help the cause of the Night's Watch? Stannis' stronghold is on a volcanic island, probably the largest known source of dragonglass within reach of Westerosi hands. Stannis still holds Dragonstone as far as Jon knows, and it'd be much easier to make a deal with Stannis for some dragonglass than to beg the southern Houses for their priceless one-of-a-kind Valyrian weapons.

Russia is simply taking an anti-Fascist stance against European Nazi products, they should be applauded. ¡No parmesan!

It is still breaking the vows of the Watch, who aren't supposed to get involved into any wars south of the wall.

It's not as selfish as wanting to be a Stark or trying to rescue Sansa, though.

I refuse to believe the last three words. Like, either.

Aparently Russia wants to ban GoT specifically Vitaly Milonov . I don't watch it but this seemed relevant

Quote
"Every tenth character [in Game of Thrones] is a sexual deviant," Milonov was quoted as saying by the Russian daily Izvestia. "Through such works and their popularizing, a new matrix is being inserted in our consciousness, according to which things like that are normal."

According to Milonov, just about every work of art produced in the West aims to destroy Russia's traditional values.
It is inevitable
