I have no idea what they're talking about, and I read the books, although a while ago.

Reread the epilogue of Book 3. I'd forgotten about it too until recently.

Trust me, the Hound should not have died. Not least because of what he may potentially do in the future.
We didn't actually see him die, so it's not like that's confirmed or anything. He's just badly wounded enough to think he's going to die.
I didn't say that he died, sorry if I was unclear. What I meant was that there are good reasons for him to not die.

Is it just me or are GoT hitting a problem where they've had more "TV" portrayals of characters, namely making everyone a bit less morally ambiguous (because it's TV and you have to do that on TV apparently), and they're hitting the point in the books where the characters actions are so driven by that moral ambiguity that they no longer match the actions one would imagine from the current TV characters personalities.

The show is dark and full of errors.

Also Qyburn was much more obviously Nazi-scientist in this episode.

Yeah, for a moment I thought that thing he plugged into the Mountain's skin was a electrode, before remembering that Westeros doesn't have electricity.

Oh right, that guy, forgot about him.

I still have no idea what "that scene" is supposed to be.

Oh, and Jojen didn't die in the books, right?

Unfortunately no; it seems that Qyburn was the only competent member of Umbrella Corp before he got ported to Westeros.

Jorah had tentacle arms from Umbrella though, that's pretty competent

It's not his fault his manly ruggedness is needed by the people so much that Dany realized it was selfish to keep him in Meereen
