Also, what it is with that rules that all meeting between lords must take place on a windswept plain?

Roose may be a cold hearted fucker who stabbed his own king in the heart at a wedding, but even he appreciates the value of atmosphere.

Also, I've been wondering: I know the Freys broke guest right like Bane broke Batman, but did the Boltons? Last I remembered, guest right only forbade violence between the host and hosted, not between two hosted.

Well, Roose helped organize the Red Wedding, so it's on him too.

So how are the non-book readers doing with this episode? I MUST KNOW.
Did not red the book, but would like what is different?

We knew beforehand. But the books were not as brutal as the show for once. He just got his head caved in after a punch, not popped open like a ripe melon.

Frankly, I felt like I was in The Walking Dead all of a sudden.

Honestly you'd think that after four seasons debating over the mighty gash the writrs would get bored of talking about it but guess not.
Arya was indeed god damned awesome in this ep.
There are much less Vale Lords than in the books, but I think the show did the vale lords better (Sansa wildcard!!! Petyr still as creepy awesome as ever).
In regqrds to Ramsay et Father in windswept plain, it's just above moat cailin so it's the start of the King's road. This means it's the last bit of the North that Edd Stark saw before going caput. There's fuck all in the North, explaining the agreement.
One thing I didn't get was;

Dany and Jorah fuck yeah, Barristen is always right even when you don't want him to be.
Also dat ending. I felt the pain in that scream.

On a lighter note I AM OBERYN MARTELL, YOU KILLED MY SISTER¡!

Well Oberyn... that's what you get for show boating in a Trial of the Gods.

And good going Dani, way to be a cunt.

Edit:
Question for the bookies:
Is the Mountain dead?
If so, is the Hound as disappointed that he wasn't the one to kill him as Arya was with Joffrey?
If so, does the Hound comprehend the irony of just having just taken the piss out of Arya?

Answers in spoilers please
