Dorne isn't Arabia shoehornland, as I recall it not only do they have a mix of Rhoynish and Andal people, but they also vary from river to river and on the Marches.

At least we can be pretty sure they will be giving us a tasty chuck of Scandinavian inspired vikings.

Vikings are represented by the good Krakenfolk of the Iron islands. I'd say Arabia and the Mediterranean is more represented by the free cities. They're not carbon copies though, and there is much overlap like how there are good arguments for Scotland being represented by the North, the Northern highlands or the North of the wall.

She did kind of give a fuck about him. Although that was just a set up to have her land her own invasion of the north without all the actual politics and back story to it. Either way she ends up in a Stannis' cage.
