Actually on the topic of Pod, and his legendary 'skills', is it any surprise that one of the two characters that are basically author self inserts is somehow a sex deity?
Pod and Sam are the only two characters truly immune from death.

Do you even into book as far even as decided what to do more look like?

Pod in the book is an otherwise sincere if slow lad who's loyal to his friends in outcasts. There's no mention of his 'skills', that's from the show.

Notwithstanding the possibility Pod is lying of course.

And judging by how he ended up in the latest book Pod may already be dead.

The person least likely to die is Arya. She wouldn't spend all those books of narration time accumulating personal power only to have it disappear. She'll do something with that power, when she does the field'll be more even. Then Tyrion will be the least likely person to die, followed by Danaerys and Sansa.

The Queen prophesied to take everything from Queen Cersei may not be Margaery Tyrell.

It's much more likely that Danaerys will arrive in Westeros and murder Cersei's remaining son, innocent little Tommen. Myrcella will follow suit with the Dornish revolt soon to come.

But I like to think everyone's wrong and the Queen who shall take everything... Will be Sansa Stark. Just you wait. Nobody suspects the Stark retribution.

My first thought upon seeing Pod come back with gold was that it's some Littlefinger's plot, but I don't recall anything like that from the books. Still, it doesn't seem very plausible for a whore to give a guy a freebie and have her pimp be cool with it.

Basically, by the time I got to that scene in the books, I was at the place where I was nearly depressed from the slow fall into darkness. (at least, that's what I remember) I believe I fistpumped in real life when I got to that moment. It's a scene I've been looking forward to in the show ever since the TV series was announced.

There are some key differences in where they seem to be taking the plot in the show that I am very interested in seeing developed. I know not everyone is a fan of the changes they've made, but I can sort of see where they want to go with it from a production standpoint. The show is most certainly not a 1-for-1 translation of the books, it could never be that in the first place. I like to think of them as somewhat separate things that happen to share ... well, a hell of a lot.
