Euron Greyjoy is the spooky viking pirate wizard cyclops king who sends off Victarion Greyjoy to find Danaerys, presumably to get rid of his rival on a foolish quest (and hey, of he succeeded, even better). Only, Victarion finds Morocco incarnate and becomes 2GOD

They do hardhome. They do it fucking well. Imagine the mist, if the mist was set entirely outside in the death zone.

The spooky scenes pretty much rob all others of their spotlight. And it works. SPOOKY

I dunno, I felt that whole "The mist of death stop when you close the door" to be a tad ridiculous.

Also, with Rattleshirt dead, it seems even more likely that the Mance Raider's story arc has also been dropped.

valyrian steel holds its own against Others

Also worth noting that they retouched Others' look. Third time in the series. I think they look better now though.

I think wights as described in the books (incorrupt corpses) were creepier, though. As they are (run of the mill undead) I can't help but think of Army of Darkness

I dunno man, I preferred the previous look of the white waler. Now it looks like they raided a sieve shop for armor.

Agreed on the WW with armour, they used to look like a force of nature, winter itself taking a body. Now they look like generic baddies with an ice fetish.

They don't even need the armour ffs, the only thing  that can hurt them does so while completely ignoring it, so what's the point then?

Also, those ridiculous ice spikes on the baddies head make him look a Super Sentai villain.
