In all seriousness the concept that nekked time causes Earthquakes is awesome, if only it were true.

The phrase "make that ass shake like an earthquake" would become a cautionary tale.

Yes, really. Earth's mantle is not composed of infinite energy, and thus is not a perpetual motion machine.

I just nearly missed a pun opportunity to sheep herd it here first.

Is it the same with Earth's buttocks?

But what if you feed the energy gained back INTO the mantle?  You'd have a bit less of a net gain, but it could still work.

I'll settle for an auspicious cycle, then. You know, what would happen if there was an area of the earth open to the core, whilst maintaining it's current depth?

Oh no, they'd be broken backed. that pun went over my head :(.

That's not perpetual, and also useless. The heat of Earth's interior is from the planet's formation 4 billion years ago. We do not possess the capabilities to meaningfully hinder or accelerate the cooling process.

What if we use that energy to create a nuclear bomb that is set off in the inner core?

It would probably mean the core would need to be restarted.

And it would mean another bad movie.

That's technically an action, not a speech... Well it was only a matter of time before I had to write another scene of utter and horrifying perversion.

Does this beckon the beginning of the age of the space marine, or the age of attaching mirrors to fighter jets?  And what's next?  Ship and tank mounted railguns, some form of active camoflauge?

Don't we already have those?

Heck the mirrors on Fighter Jets we had since WW2
